Han Yueyao was surprised by the sight of Lin Hang.
“You’re alone?”
“Yeah.”
“Have you eaten?”
“No.”
“Let’s go eat sothing.”
With that, before Han Yueyao could reply, Lin Hang led the way.
“Hey, I don’t want to eat anything. I still have sothing to do… later…”
Lin Hang didn’t seem to hear anything Han Yueyao said.
Instead, he brought her to a popular beef soup place; it was a tiny restaurant.
“Hi Lin, you brought your girlfriend today?”
The auntie at the restaurant seed to know Lin Hang quite well.
“No, just a friend.” Lin Hang’s face ruddied.
“Auntie Ru, we’ll have two bowls of beef soup rice.”
“Got it.”
The restaurant owner turned around to start cooking.
“What do you want to drink?”
“Ugh… pop is fine.”
Lin Hang stood up and grabbed two pop bottles from the fridge. He then opened up the bottle for Han Yueyao.
“Is this place good?”
Han Yueyao looked around and saw a space of less than 60 square ters, jam-packed with people; there was even a line beginning to form outside the door.
“You’ll find out soon.”
“Fine.” Han Yueyao looked down and didn’t say more.
“Why did you buy baby clothes? Are you pregnant?”
“What?! You’re the pregnant one…” Han Yueyao looked up and glared at Lin Hang.
“I’m just joking… don’t be so serious…” Lin Hang said with a straight face, drinking his pop.

“Your joke isn’t funny at all.”
“Ahem…” Lin Hang felt awkward; this woman was difficult to talk to.
She was not as easy to please as Su Xiaoxiao; that girl laughed at every joke he ca up with.
Soon after, the owner brought out the two bowls and delivered them the food.
Han Yueyao had originally wanted to head straight to South Side to give Huo Mian the gift.
She wasn’t expecting to et Lin Hang… or to be taken by force to so beef soup place.
“How does it taste?” Lin Hang asked.
“Honestly, not bad…”
Han Yueyao beca addicted after a few bites. She kept her head down and kept stuffing her mouth, without a care in the world about her idol image.
Lin Hang, on the other hand, kept his eyes on her, his gaze speaking of sothing indescribable.
“Han Yueyao, how old are you?”
“Why?”
“Just asking.”
“Younger than you.”
“You’re older than Su Xiaoxiao, right?”
“I’m definitely not as young as Xiaoxiao.”
“Older is better. More mature.”
“What are you murmuring about?”
Han Yueyao couldn’t hear what Lin Hang was saying.
“Thanks for your help at the police station.”
“Why are you thanking ? You should thank Xiaoxiao. If it weren’t for her finding her uncle…”
Han Yueyao caught herself before she said too much, imdiately shutting up.
“I know that her uncle is Su Yu.”
“You do?” Han Yueyao was surprised.

“Are you ok?” Lin Hang passed over the napkins imdiately.
“I’m okay, I’m okay… haha… Bro… you’re so funny.” Han Yueyao laughed awkwardly.
