Chapter 2598 The Abnormality of Huo Siqian (8)

“I’m fine, Mom, I need to go and pick up the twins.”

“Where are they, why aren’t they ho yet? I thought you guys went to the hot springs together this morning,” Mrs. Qin asked.

“Yeah, then Ning-Ning called to say that she and her boyfriend’s back in China and wanted to take the twins out. They probably forgot about the ti.”

“Ning-Ning’s back? Her dad agreed to them getting married?” Mrs. Qin asked curiously.

“I’m not sure, I’ll ask her about it when I see her.”

“Okay then, drive safe, Mian,” Mrs. Qin reminded her.

Then, Huo Mian drove away and called Su Yu on the way, asking them where they were.

-Haidilao Hotpot –

When Huo Mian arrived, the twins had just started eating and seed to be enjoying themselves.

“Mommy’s here! Waitress, could you please bring my mommy chopsticks and a plate?” Little Bean imdiately called out, and Huo Mian sat down in between the twins with a smile on her face.

“Sis-in-Law, I’ve missed you so much!” Qin Ning got up and hugged Huo Mian tightly.

“Sis-in-Law, you’ve gotten prettier since last I saw you!” Tang Chuan teased with a smile.

“Don’t lie, I know what I look like, okay? I’ve never been called pretty, ever!” Huo Mian laughed.

“Yeah, Uncle Tang, this is what you get for sucking up, haha!” Little Bean laughed at Tang Chuan.

“Too bad I’m not as much of a suck-up as you are, Little Bean. You truly deserve the crown for that one!”

“Um...” Little Bean was at a loss for words.

“Uncle Tang, stop telling the truth,” Pudding added.

“Auntie, look, they’re bullying again!” Little Bean complained to Qin Ning, who scolded Tang Chuan, “You... arguing with a kid, aren’t you embarrassed?!”

“You’re right, Honey.” Tang Chuan looked lovingly at Qin Ning.

“You guys make cringe... I bet you guys moved super fast and did a lot of 18 plus stuff back in the States.” Little Bean’s mind ran wild.

“What are you talking about? I’m not like that,” Qin Ning explained awkwardly.

“Where’s Qin Chu? Why didn’t he co with you?” Su Yu looked over at Huo Mian.

“Oh... he just got off work and had a lot of things to deal with.”

“Does he really have work to deal with? Or is he eting soone else?” Su Yu said cryptically.

Yu, what do you an? Is my future wife’s brother really cheating on his wife?” Tang Chuan gossiped.

“Screw you, my brother isn’t like that,” Qin Ning imdiately defended Qin Chu.

“I don’t think Daddy’s like that either. Handso Su, you can’t spread rumors, or else I’ll get mad at you.” Little Bean pursed her lips.

“I’m not spreading rumors, I really feel like sothing’s wrong, Qin Chu and Zhang Manlin...” Su Yu was just about to argue for Huo Mian’s sake, but the latter imdiately shook her head. “Su Yu, can we not talk about this in front of the kids?”

Su Yu quickly understood what she ant and nodded...

Qin Ning was anxious and had more questions to ask but decided to stop upon hearing what her sister-in-law said. She had no choice but to swallow her questions and concerns, but she was determined to talk to her brother alone when she got back.

She knew how much Qin Chu loved his wife and children, and how much he missed them when he had to be away in the States. Qin Ning refused to believe that a man like that would cheat on his wife – there must be so sort of misunderstanding here.

-On the beach of so island in Indonesia –

Lu Yan laid back on a beach chair and casually sipped on her juice.

“Yan, should we really be wandering around under Ian’s nose?” Qiao Fei asked; both he and Lu Yan knew that Ian often visited Indonesia – so why did she want to co here as soon as she got out of Pakistan? He was on the verge of a heart attack from the constant worrying about being found by Ian in his own backyard...
