“It’s late, you should go home and get some sleep… you have work tomorrow.” Mrs. Su waved her hands, sending her son away.

“Okay, I’ll be going then. Goodnight, Mom.”

“Mhm,” Mrs. Su nodded and replied.

As he left, Su Yu bumped into his father. “Dad, I’m heading home now. Goodnight.”

“Mhm,” Mr. Su replied sternly.

When he walked into the bedroom, Mr. Su saw his wife wiping off tears. He put away the book in his hand and took off his glasses, walking up to Mrs. Su and hugging her by the shoulder as he said, “What’s wrong? Why are you crying?”

“Honey… I feel bad for Yu… I’ve never seen him so battered…”

“It’s because of that girl Mian, isn’t it?” Mr. Su immediately knew what his wife was talking about; Mrs. Su nodded her head and wiped more tears off her face.

“Relationships are plicated. If she loves him, she loves him. If she doesn’t, she doesn’t. It would be wrong if Mian chooses Su Yu out of gratefulness for our family.”

“You’re right… Sometimes I wish for Mian’s husband to never e back. That way, she’ll continue living here and one day, be shaken by how much Yu loves her and ends up with him…”

“Don’t worry about them… Who knows what’s going to happen in the future… maybe one day Yu will e to his senses and fall for someone else…”

“Yeah… but no one knows my idiot son better than I do. It’s easier to kill him than make him give up someone he loves. Making him fall for another woman’s going to be next to impossible,” Mrs. Su said, her voice filled with concern.

“Yu’s a grownup who knows what he should do. As parents, we should support his decisions.”

Mr. Su was a serious man, but he was extremely understanding. His words blew away the clouds hovering over Mrs. Su’s head. “Honey, you’re right… I’m reading too much into things.”

While driving back to his private mansion, Su Yu received a phone call from Tang Chuan. Then, he headed towards a high-end club under the Tang Corporation.

Tang Chuan found more than 20 people from god knows where, gathering them all at his club; Su Yu was born in the 1980s, so people who were born in the 1990s seemed like babies to him.

“Hey, Yu, e sit here.” Tang Chuan waved enthusiastically.

Su Yu wouldn’t have e if it wasn’t Tang Chuan’s birthday – he didn’t enjoy nightclubs anymore, and he even rarely attended pany gatherings and celebrity parties.

Su Yu was wearing a coffee-colored Versace T-shirt and a pair of black slacks. His attire made him look handsome and manly…

None of the second-generation heirs in the room could pare with him…

“Young Master Su…”

“Hi, Young Master Su.”

“Good evening, Young Master Su.”

“President Su, you’re here.”

As soon as he walked into the private room, countless people scurried up to him, hoping to raise a glass with Su Yu. However, all he did was a nod back at them, refusing to even take a sip.

He walked straight up to Tang Chuan and sat down. The latter embraced one girl on either side. These girls looked enhanced and surprisingly alike.

Were they beautiful? Yes, they were for sure.

However, they weren’t memorable. Was it because they underwent cosmetic surgery at the same hospital? Why else would their noses, lips, and eyes look so alike?

“Look at yourself, aren’t you supposed to be a pretentious and prideful Scorpio? You should be more cool and indifferent, but here you are, looking like a stud horse who can’t live without women,” Su Yu immediately scolded his friend.
