Within a large manor in the lower and less guarded areas of the capital of the Westwind Country, a mysterious man sat down in a chair, ahead of him there was a desk filled with papers and many other items.
The man's eyes were dark, and his hair was silvery white, with two wolf ears atop his head. His face was scarred and old, a man seemingly on his fifties, although his body was well maintained and rather muscular.
However, aside from his good physique, the strength he emanated was not physical but magical.
The enormous pressure that he could barely hide, the Mana Aura of a Rank 5 Magus.
He sat down on his desk while glancing at several papers, contracts, and other things with aristocrats, deals where he sold illegal magic items and slaves, amongst many things.

Another man, seemingly a Rat-kin, erged from the door, politely kneeling in front of him.
"My lord… We have received a report from the one that had sent Zero… The Boss of the Thief Guild in Acacia… Zero is dead," said the man.
"Dead? The Elf?" asked the 'Lord'.
"Y-Yes… That's what the one who had enslaved her said, as he imdiately sensed that her life was cut off his Enslaving Spell," said the subordinate.
"Well that's surprising, wasn't that Elf quite valuable? She was the first test subject that survived the experints, and had three mana cores… She was also experienced at close quarter battle…" said the 'lord'.
"Yes… that sa woman, my lord. Gaspian, the man who owned her sent her to kill the human that was found to have made three of his n disappear… And now, it is thought that the sa human took down Zero as well…" said the subordinate.
"Heh, what a surprise… A human that ca out of nowhere and is growing exponentially stronger just took down a Peak Stage Rank 2 Magus with amazing skills and spells… Well, I don't really care, either way, I am too busy in here to even put my eyes in that small town, tell Gaspian to do whatever he pleases, but if he keeps losing n and resources, it should be better if he cut it off, it's not like the kid is not killing his subordinates because they're not trying to kill him, right?" asked the 'Lord'.
"I-Indeed… the three he took down tried to kidnap the human and his party. And well, Zero was sent to kill him…" said the subordinate.
"Perhaps he is a hidden genius or a very strong Magus that is trying to live his life in peace, tell Gaspian that if he doesn't kill him next ti, to leave him be," said the 'Lord'.
"A-Are you sure, my lord? Even if he didn't try to do anything hostile… wouldn't it be a great offense?" asked the subordinate.
"Offense? To whom? Gaspian? And why would I care about that crazy old man? Our negotiations had long ended, and he is no friend of , at most, I am doing this for him out of courtesy and for old ti's sake. But I am getting tired of him asking for stuff without waiting for anything in exchange, so cut off any resources for him too, I am done with him and that town, the capital is where the big money is, not in that town of nobodies," said the 'Lord'.
"V-Very well then, my lord…" said the subordinate, standing up and walking away.
The 'Lord' shifted his chair towards the large window behind him, as he took out a large cigarette and began to smoke to relax.
"A Human, huh? Well, if he does not co here, I should not really bother, there is a lot to do in here already… And a ton of people to 'dispose of'… Phew, man, I want a break… Who could have thought that running such an organization after my father's death would be such a pain? I bet he is laughing at his tomb right now… Why did you leave with all this responsibility, old man? Sigh…"
The man smoked for a few minutes until another person ca in.
"My lord, reporting in… The Jewel of Eternal Life has been spotted, and one of the Eastgrande Family mbers might want to negotiate with you…" said the subordinate.
"Oh? Finally, we are getting sowhere… From all the damn aristocrats in this nation, the Eastgrande family is the hardest to deal with… Finally, a little black sheep has taken my bait… And what about the Tree of Rebirth?" asked the man.
"We had sent a party of Rank 3 Magus, they had reached Floor 20 at the mont, but the monsters down there had grown exponentially stronger, and it has beco harder for them to manage… So they had decided to retreat," said the subordinate.
"Eh… I guess I will have to go there personally? What a pain… And even then, the Eastgrande Family will not let get in the dungeon easily… I gotta first negotiate, but this might as well take years with how to shred these old and greedy n are…" sighed the man, smoking a bit more as he waved his hand.
"You can leave now," he said.
"Y-Yes…" said the subordinate, walking away…
The man glanced at the window and the great city within, illuminated by many magic artifacts set in the streets and enormous buildings.
"No matter how long it takes… I will find a way to revive you, Eleonora…" he said, his eyes filled with conviction.

The morning finally ca as Frank and Kai were woken up by the living alarm clock, Annabelle.
"Wake up! Wake up!" she said, jumping over the bed until the two siblings didn't have any choice but to jump out of the bed, the little fox girl smiled mischievously as she escaped the two angered siblings swiftly after.
"Good morning nii-san…" said Kai, hugging her brother tightly.
Frank petted her silky black hair as he sweetly said: "Good morning, Kai."
Last night Frank was as usual called inside of Abraddon's Divine Realm, where he t the two Gods once more, chatting with them and even giving them so of his Life Force through Gift of Life.
Afterward, he trained for around 12 hours there, practicing magic and trying to co out with new Spells or Skill combinations with magic, although the results were not many, he still grinds his Skills proficiencies, managing for so of those skills to level up.
The soothing and calming atmosphere of Abraddon's Divine Realm was slowly recovering his soul, and he was now beginning to feel more of his strength coming back, Wrath was very impactful on Frank's soul, and the damage is dealt with it was rather monstrous, the Gods many tis thought that Frank should have simply died from such an enormous soul wound…
He indeed had a very abnormal soul, and after being eaten by Wrath and then regenerated, it was warping and becoming even more bizarre.
"Next ti I should try to create a Hunting Domain there… Maybe it could work?" wondered Frank, as he walked downstairs with Kai and had breakfast with her and the rest of the family.
Today the kids were rather excited, as the new Magic Teacher was finally arriving ho in a few hours, so after breakfast, everyone went to take a shower and made sure to clean the house entirely, making themselves and the ho presentable for the woman who ca directly from the capital.
After a few hours of enjoying so calming tea, the few knocks in the door could be heard, as Frank was alerted by Zero that a strange woman had appeared in the door.
"Ah, she's here!" said Gwendolyn, walking in and opening the door, as she welcod the woman outside.
Her hair was blue and long, and her eyes purple.
Instead of animal traits, she had two tiny black horns growing at each side of her head, and her appearance was rather petite for soone near the age of Gwendolyn… her hips were not quite wide, and her chest was rather flat.
She wore a beautiful black dress with a large hoodie decorated with many magic circles and other stuff, and she also had a large witch cap decorated similarly.
"Long ti no see, Gwen," said the girl with a carefree tone, as she glanced at the family greeting her.
"Damn, you got quite the classroom here… You will have to increase my pay if you want to teach every single one of them, I was originally just going to teach your daughter, you know?" asked the woman, giving Gwendolyn a greedy and cheeky smile.
"Tch… I know that…" said Gwendolyn.
"I-It is nice to et you, miss witch!" said Asterion and Hilvera at the sa ti.
"Nice to t you, teacher!" said Annabelle.
"N-Nice to et you miss," said Kai.
"Welco!" said Cathyl.
"It is nice to et you," said Frank.
"Oh? A human?" said the woman, glancing at Frank with her purple eyes gleaming with interest.
