Then, she and Liang Chen’s sister-in-law helped Liang Chen to his own bedroom.
Liang Chen was unresponsive the whole ti. His mother told him to lie down, and he complied.

The housekeeper had rushed in with a first aid kit, while his mother sobbed and tended to his wounds.

With that thought, Liang Chen abruptly stood up and knocked the dicine bottle out of his mother’s hand.

Without a word, Liang Chen grabbed his torn and bloodstained shirt, hurriedly put it on, and began to rush towards the door.

Liang Chen, silent as ever, quickly made his way down the stairs.
Their father sat in the living room, his face filled with annoyance as he saw Liang Chen rushing out. He stood up and asked, “Where are you going?”
Liang Chen didn’t slow down. He dashed out of the house in a few strides, slamming the door shut behind him. He ignored his mother, who was calling after him, and got into his car. He stepped on the gas and left the old mansion.
