Jing Haohao felt a hint of unspeakable disappointnt. She comforted herself, assuming that Liang Chen was probably just busy. She then got out of bed, freshened up and readied herself for work.
In the past, Liang Chen would always send her a ssage whenever he was free. But Jing Haohao waited until noon in the office, and still received no ssages.
Long distance relationships can easily lead to overthinking, so Jing Haohao spent the entire noon break in a daze, finally sending Liang Chen a text ssage at three o’clock.

Liang Chen eventually sat up, propping himself against two soft pillows, staring blankly at the ceiling.

“Are you still busy?”
Liang Chen’s throat moved slightly. His fingers paused for a long ti before he replied with a simple: “Yes.”
