Liang Chen nodded, remaining silent, and led Jing Haohao straight inside.
This was a top-tier beauty salon in Jiangshan City, where the prices were enough to scare people. Jing Haohao rarely ca here unless the occasion was exceptionally important.

Liang Chen and Jing Haohao followed the woman all the way to the lounge. Liang Chen walked in first. He took just one step, and then paused. Jing Haohao, puzzled, looked up at Liang Chen’s shoulder, then heard his clear and natural voice, “Oh, what a surprise, you guys are here too.”
After stating this, Liang Chen led Jing Haohao inside. It was then that Jing Haohao got a clear view of Cong Rong and Shen Liangnian sitting on the sofa by the window in the lounge.
Upon hearing Liang Chen’s voice, Cong Rong quickly turned his head. The smile on his face faltered slightly when he saw Jing Haohao. What was going on? How did Liang Chen, Jing Haohao, and Shen Liangnian end up eting here? This would be awkward.
But soon Cong Rong regained his composure and waved, saying, “Ah Chen, you’re here?”
Liang Chen steered Jing Haohao to the sofa right before Cong Rong, and gracefully sat down.
Shen Liangnian was directly opposite Jing Haohao. He held a cigarette in his hand, his facial expression unchanged. Yet when Jing Haohao and Liang Chen sat shoulder to shoulder, his hand shook violently, causing ashes to fall.
Observing this scene from the side, Cong Rong quickly reached out a hand under the table to touch Shen Liangnian’s leg in a stealthy manner.
Shen Liangnian stiffened for a mont. In the blink of an eye, he regained his composure, raised his hand for a puff of smoke, and then greeted Liang Chen naturally, “Ah Chen, Happy New Year.”
Imdiately after, Cong Rong nervously glanced at Liang Chen.
Liang Chen picked up the cup of coffee prepared by the salon, took a slow sip, and replied just as naturally, “Happy New Year.”

the latest catalog here so Haohao can pick sothing out.”
As the waiter stepped away, Liang Chen’s gaze fell back on Shen Liangnian’s face: “I read the news a few days ago, I heard you’re getting married soon?”
Shen Liangnian, with his eyes lowered, glanced at Jing Haohao, quickly dropping his gaze again, then nodded.
