Liang Chen stared down the corridor towards the direction of the art studio for quite so ti before he finally turned around and descended the stairs.
Perhaps it was eting Jing Haohao during the day that caused Liang Chen to be sowhat unfocused. After returning to the company and attending a eting in the afternoon, he appeared to be absent-minded.
The weather this day was not good, the snow from the previous days had not completely lted away. The footprints left from pedestrians made the snow appear grimy. Liang Chen sat by the window in the conference room, head lowered, watching the people on the street below. Unconsciously, an image of Jing Haohao erged in his mind.
Then he painted a picture: when she was shopping alone, was she like those people, joyfully eating an ice cream tirelessly in the harsh winter? Or was she like so others, rubbing her face from ti to ti because it was cold?

Liang Chen frowned, thought about the new project he planned to start, was silent for a mont, and then continued, “Give them twice the compensation and acquire that land as soon as possible.”
With Liang Chen’s orders, everyone moved on to the next topic of the eting. Liang Chen listened attentively for a while, then his attention seed to drift again. When he heard soone call him, without thinking, he blurted out two words: “Haohao.”
Everyone in the room exchanged glances, feeling that sothing was off about the big boss today.
However, Liang Chen’s face had no change of expression, he calmly said, “Let’s conclude today’s eting here.”
After a pause, he asked his assistant beside him, “What else do I have scheduled next?”
“You have a dinner party at eight-thirty tonight.”
“Alright, let’s leave at eight.” Having said that, Liang Chen got up and walked out of the eting room.
Returning to his office, Liang Chen, appearing slightly fatigued, sat down on the sofa and pinched the bridge of his nose.
What was wrong with him today? Why did he keep thinking about that woman?
