Chapter 152: Chapter 152 eting (6)_1
Liang Chen had been busy until ten o’clock before he finally had so free ti. He sat in his office chair and lifted a sowhat weary hand to rub his temples. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed the parcel left on his desk by his secretary.
Liang Chen paused his movents, picked up the parcel, and found a pair of scissors to unpack it, revealing a stack of A4 papers inside.
Liang Chen casually pulled out these papers, only to discover they were printed with black and white images.
Leaning back with an attitude full of jest in his spacious office chair, he idly spun his chair around, looking at the images.
The images appeared to be screenshots from a mobile phone, showing the Mobile 4G icon along with the ti, mobile signal, and battery life.
From these symbols alone, it was impossible to determine whose phone it was. As Liang Chen continued to read, the sight of the words “Liangnian” and “Haohao” in the first couple of sentences seed to freeze his gaze, and the relaxed look on his face turned serious.
He stiffly read through the A4 papers without tearing his gaze away, his expression growing grimr with every page. By the end, his face was devoid of any emotion.
In the whole office, he was the only one present. The silence was almost eerie. His deanor appeared calm, but there was an ominous aura radiating from his body.
When Liang Chen reached the last sheet of paper from the stack, he suddenly lifted his hand and slamd the papers onto the table.
It seed that this didn’t alleviate his inward rage, so the next mont, he swept all the items off his desk onto the floor.
The laptop hit the floor with a ‘bang,’ startling the assistant outside who didn’t dare to leave upon noticing he was still at work. The assistant hurriedly knocked on the door.
“Get out!” Liang Chen heard the noise, roared towards the door, and the next second, the entire door beca incredibly silent.
Liang Chen had never been so irate in his life. Seeing Jing Haohao bored and ho alone made him feel concerned about her wellbeing, so he tried his best to comfort her. He didn’t want her to contact Shen Liangnian or have the sa phone as Shen Liangnian, so he got her a new phone. He even built a painting studio for her so she could realize her childhood dreams.
Yet, on the first day she got the phone, she was secretly communicating with Shen Liangnian on Weibo. Oh… he rembered that at the dinner table, her phone kept ringing. He even asked her about it, only for her to tell him that it was Weibo.
He actually believed her and the next day, he asked his assistant to monitor her Weibo account. It was his first exposure to the social network. Seeing the negative comnts about her, he couldn’t help but strike back, only for her to criticise him in return. She had called him a brain-dead fan!
