The student knitted his brows. "What is it?"
Alex raised his hand and showed one finger. "One, my safety will be guaranteed. Who is to say you aren't planning to kill while on our way there?"
"WHY WILL I—"
"Two." Alex peered into the student's eyes and said domineeringly, not letting him interrupt again. "If, I'll repeat, if I were to be considered soone not Blessed, I want you to pay for all the damages that occurred."
"Pfft, sure." The student laughed it off.
Alex smiled. "The thing that you'll pay as remuneration isn't money, it's you getting suspended from d school forever, never getting the chance to be a doctor again."
"Wha—"
"Plus." Alex was not having it. "Not only you, each and every one of you sitting here, if you are a student, I want you removed from the university, doesn't matter what year. If you're a professor, I want your job to be taken. If you're a doctor, I want your license cancelled."
Alex stared at the crowd with the gaze of a mighty dragon.
"If you agree, I am—"
"WHAT ARE YOU—"
"Quiet." Alex looked at the person that was about to heckle and said, making a pin drop silence to ensue.
Everyone could feel the tension in the air as Alex's tone changed into that of pure dominance.
"Firstly, I am not the one who started this." Alex pointed out. "Secondly, I am being slandered for no reason whatsoever."
"And the last and foremost, while I was getting accused, none of you said a single word in my defense. You are just as liable as that guy over there."
"Either let have my degrees, or take to The Association and check if I am a Blessed or not. If I am not, I'll ensure each and every one of you suffers for wasting my ti today and accusing falsely."
"Choose wisely."
Alex's words were cold and not even the most experienced faculties could say anything to him.
Whatever he said was right and with how the US laws were, they absolutely would get fucked if they ssed up here.
The US laws would ensure what Alex had threatened to co true. It was by no ans a joke. Add to that, Alex was rich and could hire so great lawyers for himself, making the situation even worse.
The risks were too high and there was no reward for it either.
They wouldn't get any bravery dal or award for successfully exposing a student, rather, would be shad and shunned.
If Alex were to beco a Blessed, he would end up joining the big leagues and his reputation would only soar. This would cause more damage to the normal civilians that were here in this auditorium and break them further.
The risks, they were just so high that it made them shiver.
Without even a single effort, Alex successfully slapped everyone in this auditorium's face and woke them up to reality.
His charisma still remained unmatched and the dominance he showcased here would be rembered by everyone for a lifeti.
"You rascal who was accusing Sir Alexander, apologize now!"
"YES! APOLOGIZE!"
A student mustered up courage and asked the guy to apologize.
The other students eventually joined him and the whole crowd erupted for the sa thing.
There was a bit of drama and arguing on the students' part while the faculties remained quiet.
Eventually, the student apologized and disappeared from the auditorium.
Silence ensued and then one of the professors said, "okay, we can begin—"
"No thanks." Alex interrupted him. "I have proven myself enough already in this five hour long session, there's nothing more that I am going to answer."
Alex then turned to the Dean, sitting in the front row.
"I'll co back tomorrow for the written examination, keep it ready. As for the surgeries, you have living proof of what I've done, I don't need to explain myself more."
Alex then shifted his gaze to the professors in the front row.
"In case any of you feel offended or think I am not good enough, feel free to suspend and strip away my degree. What'll happen afterwards is…"
Alex smiled widely like a maniac.
"I'll either go apply to so other university, get my degrees again and ss everyone's career here, or, if the US doesn't accept , I'm going to China to finish my neurosurgery."
Alex chuckled evilly. "I am sure the Chinese would love to have on their side."
He didn't say anything more and left the place, giving a cold shoulder to everyone involved.
As he was leaving, all the professors shared a similar thought:
'We shouldn't have ssed up…'
Even though nobody knew anything about Alex's background or how rich he was, just the way with how confident he sounded and the charisma he exuded, it was enough to let them know that they offended soone they should never have.
The Dean was fuming internally as his most bright student had almost beco an enemy to his own college.
What pissed him more was how everyone stayed silent while he was getting and even more angry at himself for not standing up for Alex.
Despite having so much experience, there were so things in life that he still needed to learn.
The crowd wasn't always right!
