Hearing her explanation, the boy understood how it worked, He said, "At least there is so advantage of having a small team even though they can carry less stuff than a big team.
However, no one would be stupid enough to make a team with less than five mbers as other school teams would want to snatch or seize their battle points by force. So having a bigger team or corporation of more than one team will help to avoid those situations."
"Yeah, and the person with the highest battle points will be declared the winner for the national military school tournant which will be independent of team ranking.
In case we are not able to get enough points to get you in the top ten I will send all of my battle points to you." Nyla said, gazing lovingly at the crimson-haired boy.
He saw her affection-filled gaze that was full of love towards him, he sighed at her insanely crazy love for him.
"Let's hope we don't end up in that situation," Rio said with a bittersweet smile, he didn't want to get a higher rank in this tournant using the Magenta-haired beauty's battle points although he knew she could even sacrifice herself for him.
As they continued to go deeper into the forest, they ca across more Purple Pit Rats which Rio easily take care of using his silver-bloom king sword.
After thirty minutes of traveling, he halted his steps, gazing up at the sky he narrowed his eyes.
His attention had been drawn towards a slight movent in the sky, barely visible to the naked eye.
As he continued to stare, the movent began to take form. It was a round object of thumb size with fine transparent wings that were fluttering and flapping in the air. It was hard to tell what it was at first, but as it got closer, Rio could make out the shape of what appeared to be a tiny dragonfly.
Nyla observed Rio's intense gaze and subsequently traced the trajectory of his line of sight. Upon her encounter with the dragonfly-like object, her eyes widened in sheer astonishnt. The minute creature hovered at an insurmountable distance that would only beco perceptible to an individual's acute perception.
"What is that?" she asked, her voice filled with curiosity.
Rio was able to notice it easily using his [Heaven's Eyes].
Just as the boy saw it coming in their direction, without hesitation, he grabbed Nyla's hand and pulled her behind a nearby tree.
Her heart was pounding in her chest as she was pressed close to Rio's body. Rio's [Heaven's Eyes] continued to scan the aerial unknown object, searching for any clue he could find.
Nyla's breath caught in her throat as she saw the intensity on Rio's face. She knew that he would have a good reason for pulling her behind the tree, but she couldn't help feeling a sense of awe at his tracking ability to discover the danger that she wasn't even aware of.
As they waited for the device to pass, Rio's eyes remained locked on it, tracking its movents and noting any details that he could. He also used his [Heaven's Eyes to inspect the flying item that was bugging him.
