"Hey Eve, Do you know where can I find the Exalted Clover Ring?" He asked her as she knew almost everything.
"How can you ask this lady after rejecting so heartlessly?" Eve said with a stiff voice as they talked through telepathy.
Rio could see her sitting in her wonderland realm as he talked with her. This vision was due to the tattoo on his shoulder that helped him to be connected with her. So the communication felt like a real conversation as their tones and voices were easily transmittable through thought and they could see each other's expressions.
"I thought we were partners." Rio responded casually, thinking of a way to get an answer from this 'know it all,' elven empress.
"Yeah, but it's not always about receiving but you also need to give. Haven't you heard about 'Give and Take?'" The girl spoke as she didn't seem to be in a good mood.
"Ain't You gonna take help from in future?" Rio questioned, rembering her words from the past.
"Yeah, I will but you're too weak right now to aid . I can only tell you where I need your help when you break through to the Golden stage. Until then I don't even know if you will be alive and what's worse is that It would really pain my heart to see you leave without even being able to be intimate with you and make good mories that I can cherish in your absence.
I'm not the kind of woman who goes after another man if the person they like passes away. Although you're not at that level where I love you but still i like you and have seen you grow up since you were little." The monarch beast said, her voice was flickering with heavy emotions.
"Doesn't that make you very old? Shouldn't you be at the age of Second Mother?" The boy asked in amusent, considering her playful nature.
"Shut up..." The elven empress hissed at him with puffed cheeks as he indirectly made fun of her.
Hearing her grumbling, The boy rembered that ntioning a girl's age to them was like touching the reverse scale of a dragon and he shouldn't have provoked her.
"You can not even tell to find another boy because it's the goddess who bound us together as she chose you as her heir. I really dislike all n of this universe, they only know how to sadden a delicate heart of an innocent girl." Eve's voice was flickering with annoyance as she was too upset.
"I didn't ask the goddess for us to be linked. Neither did I ask her to choose as her heir." The boy responded in a calm tone.
As he answered her there was a long silence between them, Rio started walking towards the girls with light steps to not disturb their beauty sleep and sat on the leafy bedding he built.
After a few minutes passed, The girl's penitent voice sounded in his mind, "Umm... I'm sorry. I shouldn't have snapped at you."
"It's okay. I understand girls have their monthly cycle where they get mood swings and beco very emotional to throw tantrums." He said in a calm voice as he talked to her about another forbidden topic to an elven girl.
"You know, I wanna fight you and stab my long nails in your body. You really know how to tease a girl. Ahhhhh...." Eve grumbled as she experienced how the boy was bringing up the monthly cycle to make it responsible for her emotional rollercoaster.
After calming herself down, The girl continued, "Why don't you say any sour words like you say to others? I had seen how you had responded to people like Talia when they were rude to you. Then why you're not getting mad at for how I blew up on you a while ago."
She asked in a confused voice as the girl wanted to know why he was nice to her.
"I don't get mad at people I cherish even if they are talking unreasonably to because of their mood swings." He said in a nonchalant voice.
Eve on the other side was dazed hearing his answer, she mumbled inwardly, "I don't get mad at people I cherish... HE CHERISHES ?"
The girl was joyous in her heart as she discovered he didn't completely disregard her bonding with him and actually cared about her.
What he was saying made so sense thinking he was nice to her like how he was to his other loved ones.
"Thank you, Rio... I believe you wouldn't disappoint in the future. I don't really understand you sotis as you're a rare breed among living species I have been studying in my ti in this foreign world.
And yeah... I should stop acting like a sad bullied girl and instead intimidate you with my eleven grace, Partner." The girl said in a gentle voice but as she spoke the last sentence her voice was mixed with playfulness again.
"I was waiting when you would act like a normal person to . You always hid behind this jolly side of yours that's similar to Nyla.
At least I get to see the real you where you also get sad and complain like an angry bird." Rio spoke as his voice was calm and mixed with a hint of amusent.
"You should know that Elves are emotional creatures. They have more emotions than other races. It's just I don't want to annoy you with my lodramatic Behaviour." She spoke, her face looked coyish as she was embarrassed to talk about it.
"It's okay, You should act however you feel comfortable. Just don't force yourself too much." He replied using the telepathic thod.
"Mmm... I will try. By the way, Rio. I know where is Exalted Clover Ring." The girl said with a delighted tone as she decided to solve his problem.
"Where?" Rio asked in surprise as he didn't expect her to really have knowledge about the first piece of the forbidden land's map.
