Pregnancy (Part 1)
Even though she had already been speculating for a long ti, she was still at loss due to disbelief when she heard the news of her pregnancy.

She actually had a little life in her stomach.
After writing down the doctor’s instructions in detail, Aunt Pei thanked him again and again before leaving the hospital with Ji Qingqing.
On the way back, Aunt Pei couldn’t help but inform Grandpa Lu of the good news over the phone in advance. After the old man heard the news, his laughter never stopped.
“Don’t worry, old man, we will be back later and I will surely take good care of Qingqing!”
After saying a few more words, she hung up the phone. Aunt Pei looked at Ji Qingqing, who had been in a daze since she ca out of the hospital, and smiled. “Qingqing, do you want to tell this news to him?”
Ji Qingqing recovered, took out her cell phone, and made preparations to call Lu Lixing. But seconds before pressing the call button, she quickly exited the call interface.
“Let’s go to the company.” Ji Qingqing smiled brightly and said, “I want to tell him the news in person.”
The driver smiled. He turned the steering wheel and the car crossed the intersection steadily.

The secretary at the front desk didn’t dare to neglect her and quickly called to inquire about the whereabouts of Lu Lixing. She then inford Ji Qingqing that he was still in his office.
After speaking, she personally led Ji Qingqing upstairs.
“Don’t get too excited when you see the young master later. Just be calm, all right?”
“Aunt Pei, don’t worry. I know, I won’t get excited.”
Aunt Pei smiled and nodded, looking at her lower abdon.
In the elevator, the secretary looked curiously at Ji Qingqing behind her.

Could it be that Ji Qingqing is pregnant?
She hurriedly retracted her gaze, quietly took out her cell phone, and sent a few words to the company’s chat group.

Ji Qingqing kissed Lu Lixing as if there was no one else, and whispered in his ear, “I have good news for you.”
“What good news?”
Ji Qingqing flattened the paper report in her hand and placed it in front of him, “I’m pregnant.”
The paper report was too close to Lu Lixing, so he wasn’t able to see it clearly. When he heard what Ji Qingqing said, he was startled.
“What?”
Ji Qingqing stared into his eyes and happily said word by word, “I said you’re going to be a father!”
Lu Lixing was stunned for a long ti as if unable to recover from Ji Qingqing’s words. He subconsciously glanced at her flat lower abdon.
“Husband, we have a child!”
Lu Lixing’s expression seed to freeze, and he turned his head to Chen Jing very calmly and said, “Let the eting be delayed until two o’clock in the afternoon.”
Chen Jing smiled in response and left imdiately after bidding Ji Qingqing goodbye.
Lu Lixing took Ji Qingqing by the hand and brought her inside the office. His expression was calm and she couldn’t see any trace of joy on his features.
Ji Qingqing’s face scrunched up into a frown. This reaction was not what she had been expecting.
Why are you so calm?
“Are you upset?”
The mont the office door closed, Lu Lixing turned his head and gave Ji Qingqing a surprise kiss on the lips.
Only then did Ji Qingqing feel his trembling breathing, his trembling hands on her body.
Lu Lixing gently covered her lower abdon with his hand. His forehead leaned against Ji Qingqing’s forehead and the tip of his nose touched the tip of hers. His throat bobbed up and down and he looked like he was on the verge of tears.
He said in a muted voice, “Happy, I’m very happy…”
