“It’s fine.” Lu Lixing seed to not take it seriously.

This was Ji Qingqing’s first ti encountering her own antis. Earlier when the antis mobbed her, she really did not know what to do.

“Didn’t you say you’re not fetching ? Why have you co?”

Lu Lixing didn’t answer her question. Instead, he asked her back, “Don’t you know how to use the VIP route?”

“I thought that my arrival was low-profile enough, but I never expected…” Ji Qingqing did not know how the antis got hold of her location. They even caused a scene and blocked her at the airport.

“You’re now a celebrity. Next ti rember to use the VIP route.”

Ji Qingqing nodded her head, indicating that she will rember it.

Watching the scenery outside the car gradually change to the familiar high rise buildings, Ji Qingqing smiled. Finally, she can stop seeing the barren wilderness of her filming site.

She’s finally back!

Upon reaching the Lu’s family ho, Ji Qingqing got out of the car and excitedly rushed inside the villa.

Old Lu and Aunt Pei were watering the plants along the French window. The one month which she hadn’t seen them felt like three years to her.

“Grandpa! Aunt Pei! I’m back!”

Hearing her voice, Old Lu turned back to see who it was. He imdiately smiled and put down the watering can in his hand. “Let have a look. Who’s back? Why didn’t you tell this grandpa in advance when you were coming back?”

Ji Qingqing rushed forward and hugged Old Lu tightly. “Isn’t that because I wanted to give you a surprise?” Saying that she went and hugged Aunt Pei too.

Aunt Pei looked closely at her from top to bottom and suddenly sighed. She turned towards Old Lu and said, “Mada worked hard filming outdoors for the past month. She’s beco thinner.”

Thinner?

Yesterday, Lu Lixing had scared her into believing that she beca fatter, till apart from having her regular als, she didn’t dare to eat a single dessert at all.

“Then for tonight’s dinner cook more dishes for Qingqing so that she can replenish her body.”

“Ok, no problem. I’ll imdiately start preparing!”

Si Si ran to Ji Qingqing’s feet. It looked up and started wagging its tail at her. Evidently, the puppy still rembered her.

Ji Qingqing squatted down and stroked the fur on Si Si’s head. “Si Si, I haven’t seen you in a month and Aunt Pei has already made you so fat.”

Si Si obediently nudged her palm with its head.

“So obedient.”

Then Lu Lixing entered the room from outside with the assistant appearing behind him carrying Ji Qingqing’s items upstairs. After saying few words, he gave Ji Qingqing a

deep glance and headed upstairs to his study.

As Aunt Pei prepared for dinner, Ji Qingqing accompanied Old Lu and described to him so of the interesting things that happened while she was filming.

“Oh right, Grandpa, before I almost forget, I brought back a gift for you.”

“Child, if you’re back, you’re back. Why do you still bring presents?” Even though he said that way, the old man’s expression was not in the very least unhappy.

“This is a local dicinal wine which is very famous in my filming area. It’s said to be very effective for treating sore bones. I’ve also gotten a doctor to verify that it’s harmless to the human body. If you wish, you can try it.”

“Alright then, Grandpa will accept your gift.” Old Lu grinned widely and accepted the gift.

“Old master, mada, dinner is ready.” Aunt Pei smiled and headed upstairs. “I’ll tell the young master to co down.”

The dishes Aunt Pei had prepared for dinner were mostly the dishes that Ji Qingqing loved to eat. During dinner, both Old Lu and Aunt Pei kept piling food onto Ji Qingqing’s bowl, insisting that she had beco thinner and needed to eat more.

Ji Qingqing glanced at Lu Lixing. Her eyes seed to be asking ‘didn’t you say I was fat.’

Lu Lixing ignored it and continued eating his al.

When Ji Qingqing got to eat Aunt Pei’s cooking, she started wolfing down the food quickly. To her, this was the most filling al she had in the past month.

After dinner, Old Lu and Aunt Pei understandingly gave the newly married couple so ti together. They didn’t even forget to carry Si Si out.

Traveling the whole day made Ji Qingqing feel sowhat tired. She headed upstairs intending to nap for a bit before bathing. Without even removing her clothes, she sleepily went to her bed and laid down.

Lu Lixing was reading a book on one end of the sofa when he noticed Ji Qingqing entering the room. He lifted his eyelids and glanced at her montarily before turning his attention back to the book he was reading.

Just as Ji Qingqing was about to fall asleep, she heard Lu Lixing’s voice sound beside her ears.

“You fild a kissing scene?”
