Ji Qingqing pondered for a bit before she said, “I want to eat Aunt Pei’s cooking…”

Lu Lixing interrupted her again, “Aunt Pei isn’t here, you won’t be able to eat her cooking.”

Ji Qingqing glanced at him, annoyed. “I do know Aunt Pei isn’t here, but maybe the hotel chef could replicate it too?”

“Currently, at this timing, all the hotel chefs are resting. Also, the area here is quite remote, if it’s too complicated they might not have the required ingredients to make it.”

“Then why are you still asking what I want to eat?” Ji Qingqing retorted back.

Due to yesterday night’s cold, her throat felt sore when she raised her voice.

Lu Lixing stood there, he could hear the annoyance in her tone. A minute later, he entered the kitchen and returned back to the room with a glass of warm water. Then, he passed it to her, together with the cold dicine.

“Your body still hasn’t recovered from the fever yesterday night. You should eat sothing light and have so porridge.” He softly instructed.

Ji Qingqing glanced at the glass of water in front of her. It was still slightly steaming. She took it, swallowed two pills, and sipped twice. The pain from her throat had subsided quite considerably.

“Porridge? No!”

“Porridge is easy to digest and good for the body.” Lu Lixing started explaining the benefits of the dish. “Rice has multiple properties, for example it can provide nourishnt, strengthen the spleen, improve digestion and prevent both dehydration and diarrhea. You still haven’t recovered…”

“I’m not eating porridge.” Ji Qingqing replied firmly. “I’ll go out and eat on my own.”

Saying that, she got out of bed.

Lu Lixing gave in, clenching his teeth, he asked, “Then what would you like to eat?”

Ji Qingqing thought pondered for a bit before she said, “I want to eat…”

Lu Lixing’s heart tensed.

“Shrimp with Sweet corn.”

Isn’t that just frying corn together with shrimp?

“And I also want to eat the Napoleon Wrasse that you brought to the filming site the other day.”

Just steaming the fish well would be enough?

“And what else?”

Ji Qingqing cheekily smiled at him. Lu Lixing’s brows furrowed. He had a gut feeling that Ji Qingqing’s next dish was going to be hard to prepare. As he held, he heard her say, “Stir-Fried Vegetables!”

“Bring it over?”

The hotel manager imdiately understood what Lu Lixing ant.

The suite was equipped with a kitchen, allowing guests to cook whenever they wished. She had already heard that after checking in, Lu Lixing had been staying together with Ji Qingqing. And cooking was just one of those ‘couple’ things.

“Alright Mr Lu, I’ll imdiately get soone to prepare it for you.”

20 minutes later, after hanging up, the hotel staff ca over and delivered the ingredients Lu Lixing required, and left them in the kitchen.

One of the staff went over and whispered to him. “Mr Lu, our apologies, our hotel does not have Napoleon Wrasse.”

“You don’t have it?”

“Yes, the Napoleon Wrasse was sold out yesterday. We have brought you a Grouper here…”

“I only want the Napoleon Wrasse.” Lu Lixing looked at the fish, he was unable to tell what breed it was. He waved them off. “Nevermind, you all can leave first.”

The hotel staff smiled and left the room.

Lu Lixing gave another call to the hotel manager and instructed her to exhaust all possibilities to find a Napoleon Wrasse.

The hotel manager had no choice but to steel herself and accept the request.
