Is that Aunt Pei’s dog?
Ji Qingqing raised her head and looked at the little dog in Lu Lixing’s arms.
He was hugging a Samoyed puppy coated in snowy white fur. It was half the size of Lu Lixing’s arm, and was well-behaved and docile. It looked very adorable when it stuck its tongue out and smiled.
“Wah! What an adorable puppy!” Ji Qingqing exclaid as she placed the script down and rose. All of her gaze was on the puppy, she was so excited that her eyes seed to be sparkling. With her knees bent, she squatted beside Lu Lixing and patted the puppy on the head.
The little Samoyed was friendly with strangers. Upon seeing Ji Qingqing, it stuck its tongue out and wagged its tail. It even obediently nudged her palm.
She played with the little Samoyed and looked at Lu Lixing, asking “When did Aunt Pei get a dog? Why haven’t I seen or heard her speak about it?”
Lu Lixing replied composedly, “You just ca so you might not have known about it. Baby…was taken care of by Aunt Pei previously. But later it went missing.”
He imdiately paused to ask the System, “Why isn’t there an increase in life points?”
——“Host, you have to call out the pet na and receive a response from your wife Ji Qingqing. Only then will the mission be considered completed and you will gain life points.”
Then, the little Samoyed froze. It looked left and right with its little head. It had sensed a dangerous presence which made its hackles rise.
“Aunt Pei must have been really sad.” Ji Qingqing thought and said, “I’ll give this Samoyed to Aunt Pei when I go back, then.”
After hearing, Li Lixing’s hands tightened slightly, causing the little Samoyed to yelp in pain and struggle in his arms.
“Si Si, be good, stop it.” Qi Jingyun stood up and took the little Samoyed from Lu Lixing’s arms. It snuggled in her arms and glared grudgingly at Lu Lixing. Then, it let out two sulky whines and nudged Qi Jingyun’s arm.
“I found this Samoyed on the roadside after I joined the filming crew. It’s called Si Si. It looked adorable so I continued to take care of it. What’s the matter? Mr Lu, did soone in your family take care of a similar-looking Samoyed before?”
“Yes, an aunt staying at ho,” Ji Qingqing smiled and continued, “She had a Samoyed before but it went missing.”
Qi Jingyun raised her eyebrows.
An aunt at ho? So these two are already living together?
“And it looks similar to this one?” she asked.
Ji Qingqing glanced at Lu Lixing. “I think they should be the sa.” If not, Lu Lixing wouldn’t have mistaken it for Aunt Pei’s.
“Since they are the sa, then it must be fate. Why not let President Lu bring it back.”
Ji Qingqing instantly turned her down politely, “Oh no, you don’t have to do that, I’ll just pick another Samoyed and bring it back.”
“It’s alright, I’m off filming most of the ti, so even if I bring Si Si back, I can only leave it in the care of a pet shop. And I can’t always bring it with . If the both of you take it back, you would be able to give it a better ho. I’m sure Si Si would also like it, right Si Si?”
“Woof Woof,” Si Si barked at Lu Lixing.
“Look, Si Si is telling Mr Lu that it agrees.”
“Si Si, do you want to co ho with us?”
Lu Lixing frowned and glared Si Si in an unfriendly manner.
Both human and dog stared at each other for three seconds.
Then Si Si started barking at Lu Lixing.
“Woof woof woof!”

“Look, Si Si’s so happy to hear that you’re bringing it ho!” Qi Jingyun exclaid as she placed Si Si into Ji Qingqing’s arms. “From now on I’ll be leaving Si Si in your care okay? I’ll be visiting it regularly.”
Si Si was already desperately moving about Ji Qingqing’s arms, its two forelegs repeatedly pawing to go back to Qi Jingyun’s embrace.
“Woof woof woof ao ao ao!!!”
——Let go, I don’t want to go!!!
“I’ll definitely miss you too, Si Si. But don’t worry, I’ll co back frequently to visit you in the future.”
“Sister Jing Yun, rest assured, I’ll definitely take good care of Si Si.” Ji Qingqing said as she struggled to hug Si Si in her arms, unfeelingly preventing its escape. “Si Si, don’t make a fuss. Be good.”
The next mont, Lu Lixing picked Si Si up by the scruff of its neck and lifted it from Ji Qingqing’s arms. Si Si who was still struggling instantly quieted down when it was in his arms.
“Mr Lu, it seems that Si Si likes you.”
