A few days had passed since I took the group to the tree house in the forest. Most of my ti was spent either in the workshop making potions or teaching the princess magic outside.

I even told her to go hunt without my help. Of course, both maids went with her, but she always ca back with at least three slain monsters that she would process and butcher herself.

I had used all of the terror bull horns for potions and had crates filled with them, along with the healing potions, and I needed to send them to the other cities with my delivery tablet that was back in my ho at End Town.

The princess wanted to practice the teleportation spell, but it proved to be the hardest one to master. It wasn’t an easy spell to explain since everyone had their own ideas and imagination when it ca to teleportation. Either way, I decided to explain it to her the best way I could.

For , whenever I casted the teleportation spell, I thought of the wormholes theory. It said that it was a theoretical passage between space and ti, almost like connecting two parts of the universe like a folded piece of paper and stepping onto the other side.

I even pulled out a piece of fabric to help explain myself better.

"Imagine you are on one side of the cloth, and you want to make it to the other side..." I said as I folded the fabric in half. It was all about imagining yourself folding the space around you to create a shortcut to the destination.

However, even with my explanation, the princess couldn’t fully grasp the concept of it, which made realize that it was the first spell that she had actual trouble learning. Most of the ti, it would take her a few minutes at most to fully copy and learn my spells, but I never would have thought that teleportation would be the hardest for her.

We had wasted enough ti, so I told her that she would need to keep practicing later since we had work to do at that mont, and I used my teleport to bring us all back to End Town with both Vespera and carrying carts full of potion crates.

We delivered Mr. Olliver’s batch first and went straight to my ho to use the delivery tablet to send the old and new potions to the other cities. Right after that, I was called by one of the town hall workers saying that Jackson wanted to see .

Turned out that we had received another batch of refugees from a village that was quite far from ours. A group of 34 villagers had to flee their hos due to a monster attack, and while they migrated to Speranza, they heard rumors about End Town’s thriving reputation and decided to take the risk and co all the way here.

Jackson asked to help him with the housing for all the new villagers, to which I agreed instantly and made my way out of the office. However, as soon as I turned around, he told that the villagers had brought so of their crops with them and that it was sothing we didn’t produce in our town.

The princess, who followed all the way to the town hall, heard the entire thing and excitedly held my hand, urging to et the new villagers and pulling toward the exit. ("She just wants to eat sothing new, doesn’t she...?") I thought as I followed her steps, knowing full well that she had no idea where we were going.

Once we t the villagers, their group leader stepped up and nervously opened a crate that was supposed to have their signature crops, and when he opened it, my eyes widened in surprise and excitent.

"Ahh, sorry... I know they don’t look appetizing, but I promise that they are quite filling!" exclaid the man nervously as he showed the brown tubers inside the crate.

"Potatoes!" I yelled as I held two of them, one in each hand.

The man, noticing my attitude towards his crops, got his nerves under control and asked if that was another na for "botos". Realizing that it was a stupid na and that they were confused by my statent, I took the opportunity to convince them that those crops were fard originally in my holand and that their real na was "potatoes".

The leader, out of respect for my holand, said they would refer to them as such in the future, making feel good and bad. Good because I wouldn’t hear anyone call potatoes "botos", and bad because I had lied to them. ("A small white lie never hurt anyone though...") I thought.

I did notice that so of the potatoes looked a bit rough, which made wonder if they were using the correct thods for farming them or if their soil was sowhat deficient in nutrients. So, I made a deal with them, telling them that we would build their hos and farms, but they would be the ones in charge of farming the potatoes produced in our town and exporting them to other cities in the future.

It seed like the best decision was to not only give all of the refugees a ho but a stable job that could also open more opportunities in the future for them. I was already on the brink with the amount of work I had to do daily, and managing a potato farm didn’t sound feasible.

For the creation of the new farms, we had to take down a part of the wall that protected the town to expand our territory. Thankfully, the princess helped build the houses and use nature magic on the farm soil to make the crops grow faster and healthier.

It took us two entire weeks of work, from early in the morning to bedti. So of the villagers would co around and help us from ti to ti, seeing that only Vespera, the princess, and I were working on the land.

By the ti we were done, by sheer coincidence, the knight’s order that had been sent from the capital after my visit had finally arrived at End Town.

I had completely lost track of ti, and after greeting all of them and showing them to their barracks, I went ho quickly to prepare myself to pick up Lord Reinar, who was supposed to start studying alchemy with when the knights arrived.

The princess, of course, wanted to go with , prompting the maid Carli to say that she would go too, and before it could get too late, I used "teleport" and brought ourselves to the City of Glorya.

After making it to the Sephyr’s residence, we were greeted by the maids, along with Triana and Reinar. But before we could leave, the duke’s family wanted to have so tea with us, and since I had to rest a little for my MP to recover, we spent a bit of ti hanging out with them before we could go back.

With the pleasantries over, the group gathered together again, with Reinar joining us, and used my teleport again to bring us back to the entrance of End Town.

Our first stop was ho since I wanted Reinar to leave his belongings in his room before we showed him around town. As we made our way inside, Gina greeted us and told us that a letter had arrived on the delivery tablet.

It was for the princess, and the senders were none other than the King and Queen Sephyr. In it, they expressed how proud they were of their daughter and that they missed her dearly in the castle.

They had also talked to the Duke, now aware that Reinar would be arriving in town around this ti, and asked her to help keep everyone safe. The princess smiled and said she would write them a letter while I gave Reinar a tour.

Noticing that she wanted to spend so ti alone to gather her thoughts and write the letter to her parents, we all agreed and left the house while she stayed with Carli.

Reinar was nervous at first, and understandably so. The child had grown up thinking that this area of the country was extrely dangerous to the point where not even adventurers dared to travel.

But seeing the amount of life that was bursting throughout End Town, the shadow dogs helping the villagers with nial tasks and playing with the children, the stalls filled with exotic fruits and veggies, and the stores selling high-quality fabrics and potions for cheap prices, he wondered aloud how in the world could soone build sothing so beautiful in such a remote place.

I saw Reinar smiling and told him to take it all in, as our training wouldn’t take place in town anyways but deep in the forest. He looked at with dead eyes and a horrified expression, so I tried convincing him that it wasn’t as bad as it sounded, but my efforts were in vain.

("I guess confronting his fears will be the first lesson...")
