After almost all of our army had advanced through the lost continent, we reached a hill where we could see the massive castle in its entirety, and the size of the structure only got more prominent the closer we got.

Vespera had a few of her spiders nearby, and since she could see everything the little ones did, she told about the massive space inside the castle beforehand. Still, my brain couldn’t imagine the size until I saw it for myself.

"It’s basically the size of a mountain..." Vespera comnted, explaining that she had found four different entrances at the bottom. However, the gigantic doors seed to be sealed.

There were absolutely no devils wandering outside the castle walls, but Vespera could sense an overwhelming amount of demonic energy coming from within.

The castle’s base was broad, but the top was very thin, making it look as if the structure had an antenna, which gave a bad feeling, although I couldn’t tell why.

At that mont, I had to wait for the other soldier groups to reach their positions closer to the castle. We were still a little over 50km away from getting to our destination, so we still had quite a trek.

After helping the soldiers build a camp behind a small hill where we could oversee the periter around us, I walked around for a bit to talk to them, realizing that I had people from all over the world with .

Jackson and Karla were part of the few thousands that followed , and when I noticed they were keeping their distance from the other soldiers, I approached them to ask if there was sothing wrong.

Most of the ti, Jackson was a pretty sociable person, and he got along well with knights and soldiers in the past. Karla was a bit more serious, but she was still kind and polite. Seeing the soldiers eating and having a relatively good ti at the camp, I wondered what made them so apprehensive.

"Oh, ermm... We were just talking, you know?" Jackson replied, and I could instantly tell that he was lying.

Karla turned her head to look at with a serious expression, saying that Jackson felt guilty about spending ti with the soldiers.

"This again...?" I asked, crossing my arms and raising an eyebrow.

I knew that Jackson was one of the very few devils who could feel compassion and empathy, but sotis, I felt like he was just TOO good.

"Listen, man. I told you this before, but all of the soldiers here are here because they want to..." I said to Jackson.

"Nobody is blaming you for anything," I continued, prompting Jackson to bite his lips as if he wanted to say sothing.

"Ichiro... When I first got to this world, I helped Drakzen-..." Jackson tried to reply, but I cut him off.

"So? That was a long ti ago, and you are not on his side now. Right?" I interjected.

"Of course not. But if I had listened to my doubts back then, none of this would’ve happened," Jackson replied.

"How do you know that?" I asked.

"What?" Jackson replied with another question, slightly confused.

"How do you know that it was YOUR help that brought this entire event? You could’ve been replaced or killed..." I explained, grabbing Jackson by the collar of his shirt.

"Stop living in the past. Focus on what you can protect right now!" I exclaid, staring at Jackson with complete determination.

For a few seconds, Jackson stayed silent without taking his eyes from my gaze, letting out a very faint smile as he understood where I was coming from.

After finally getting so sense into his head, I told him to walk with around the camp and talk to the soldiers.

The large squad that was following my command had people from all over the world. Except for the Sephyr knights, but I had a good reason for them not to co with .

In fact, the only person from the Sephyr Kingdom who was part of our squad was Topen, my assistant during my teaching year at the academy.

From the Droman Empire, the Dawn’s Defenders had all regrouped and joined my squad. They still considered their leader, so when they were given the option to choose a group to follow, they didn’t hesitate to ask for mine.

We also had a few dozen elven archers and mages from the tower, so we had a good backline to support the fighters.

Almost half of the squad were Vikings from the north, and I couldn’t really bla them for wanting them to follow lina and since we were the ones who helped with their devil problem.

Gina, my battle-maid, had also co along with , and she was extrely helpful when it ca to building the camps and taking them down. Moreover, a lot of beastkin soldiers had also joined, and most of them were people who fought with when we liberated their country from Zagor.

When nightti arrived, I received the last ssage we needed from Yuki, the princess of Kyotora, telling that they had finished moving for the day.

Yuki was leading a small squad of samurai and ninjas, and they were located on the opposite side of the devils’ castle since they entered the continent through the underwater tunnels.

Now that all of our army was surrounding the periter of the castle, I told all the groups to stay alert. We were still over 50km away, but that didn’t an that they wouldn’t try to attack us.

Then, after I sent those ssages to the squad leaders, I used the crystal to talk to the Dwarven King, who was still inside the titan by the shores.

["Is it ti to keep moving, Sage?"] The king asked in his ssage.

"It is. Make sure to stay on the East side... We wouldn’t want the titan to step on our soldiers," I replied.

["BAHAHA! Who do ye think yer talkin’ to?"] the king said with enthusiasm. Not even a minute later, we could see the World Titan in the distance, slowly standing up and turning in the direction of the castle.
