After opening the backdoor of the theater, we carefully walked inside while keeping our "search" spell active. That way, we would know if soone was getting close to us.

The room was dark, but it didn’t take long for us to spot the first cell with people inside.

It seed to be a young couple, probably around 19-20 years old, and as soon as they saw us, they sat against the far corner of their cell, with the man holding his arm in front to protect the woman.

"We are not here to hurt you..." lina said with a sweet tone of voice.

I noticed that they had two bowls with rice and vegetables in them, which looked too good to be in their cells.

Without saying a word, I poked lina on the shoulder and pointed at the bowls, leaving her puzzled as to why that was there.

The man, seeing that we were eyeing their food, quickly grabbed the two bowls and dragged them with him to the corner—a sign to stay away from his food.

"Again, we are not here to hurt you or take your food..." said lina.

"Wh-who are you?" the imprisoned girl asked.

"For now, you can just call Blue. We are here to get you out..."

We were still using our code nas just in case, especially considering lina was the princess of another country. If soone in a high position knew that an outsider noble was ssing with their affairs, it could beco a bigger problem than it already was.

After she used earth magic to bend the cell’s bars, she patted the pair on the head and teleported them to Yuandu, returning to five seconds later.

Delving deeper into the dark backroom, we knocked out another guard and reached an area with four cells.

One had an entire family of four. The father, mother, and two children.

Another one had three children inside who looked a bit older than the family mbers but were still clearly kids.

The third one had two female elves who were dressed in provocative dresses, which made a little sick as it was evident what they were trying to do.

And the last one had two tall and burly n who looked like seasoned warriors.

The thing that they all had in common was that all of their cells had a bowl with rice and veggies, the sa as the couple we freed before.

The people in their cells were all wary of our presence there, and the only ones who seed willing to talk were the two warriors.

"Who are you? You are clearly not from here..." said one of the n.

lina wasn’t wearing her headpiece anymore since she said it was hard to move around with it, so her silver hair was out in the open, visible to everyone, which people in Guanghua didn’t naturally have.

"Umm, just call Red for now... We are here to get you guys out of here," I replied.

"Hmm, first we get good food, and now we get freedom? What the hell are the nobles of this country thinking?" said the other warrior.

"Wait, what do you an you got good food?" I asked.

The two warriors explained that, minutes before we arrived, another noble had passed by and given all of the enslaved people a bowl of rice with veggies.

’So, that guy with the snake and shield crest was actually bringing these guys food!?’ I thought.

The noble didn’t give his na, so the prisoners didn’t know his identity. All they knew was that he had long, light brown hair and was quite tall with a slender build.

The warriors were from the Northern Empire, saying they lost their settlent to the emperor and were sold as slaves to the Guanghua Kingdom.

’Right, the Northern Empire is also in a similar situation...’ I thought.

The two warriors introduced themselves as Bjorn, who had blonde hair, and Magnus, who was bald.

From the marks they had on their bodies, it was clear that they had been subjected to a lot of torture. Nonetheless, they sohow looked the healthiest out of all the slaves around us.

One of the three children spoke up from the cell behind and said that the bald man had protected him from the scary nobles.

Seeing that the two warriors were too humble to talk about their achievents, I approached the kid and gently placed my hand on his head through the cell bars.

Then, I used mory magic to see what really happened.

In the boy’s mories, I saw a noble couple walking along the corridor of the backroom, laughing at the fate of the enslaved commoners.

Their faces looked distorted, almost making them look like horrific monsters that you would find in nightmares.

’This must be how the kid perceived the two nobles...’ I thought.

Suddenly, the woman turned to look at the kid, and as I was looking at everything from his perspective, the sight also unsettled .

"My love, look at this child! Why is he looking at like that!?" she shouted.

"Huh!? You got a problem with my wife, kid? Guards, get this kid out here right this instant!" the man exclaid with an arrogant tone.

However, as the guard walked up to the children’s cell, Magnus spoke up.

"I heard that the nobles in Guanghua were demons, but it turned out that they are just pathetic fiends. To call you a demon would be a complint!" he said with a smile.

His comnts made the nobles turn their attention to him, and after the guard opened the cell’s door, the couple started beating Magnus’ back with a whip. Nevertheless, he didn’t even flinch as the lashes marked his back.

Separating my palm from the kid’s head, I returned to reality and smiled slightly.

’This is the type of guy you want on your team!’ I thought.

I teleported the three children first while lina took care of the family of four.

Apparently, the three kids had been separated from their families, so all we could for now was hope that we could find them or that they were at the settlent already. Still, the chances of that were pretty low.
