My barrage of attacks had pushed Zagor to the side of the castle that led to the jungle, and after destroying the gate with his body, I kept attacking him and making him go further away from the area, not wanting to keep destroying the building.
Zagor was getting frustrated as every ti he tried healing, I bombarded him with fla attacks.
At one point, his body was full of burnt marks and bruises, but his energy stopped healing him, making believe that he was running out of demonic power.
I rushed at him one more ti and noticed that all of his demonic energy had been fully absorbed, making flinch as I got close to him with my charged fist that was promptly stopped by an incredibly powerful aura that felt like a wall.
The demonic energy felt like it was punching in the gut and pushed back a few ters away as Zagor’s body grew even larger. I’m talking about a growth of eight or nine ters.
It looked almost like the Terra Titan but made with flesh instead of rocks.
’This is his strongest form. I can just tell...’ I thought as I stared at the massive body of Zagor that towered above the trees.
At that point, I knew that it wouldn’t be as easy as punching him until he burned away, so I focused all my MP into one final spell.
It wasn’t an attack spell, but the most important one that I could cast while in my awakened form.
’Phelena’s Armory...’ I thought, tapping into the sa power I did back when I awakened with moon magic.
That ti, I summoned the "Moonblade" that allowed to kill Armaros. Now, I had awakened with fire, so I was expecting a flaming sword or sothing similar.
However, when I felt sothing materialize in my hands, I noticed it was a bow made of pure fire.
I had no arrows or projectiles, but sohow, I could tell that I didn’t need them to use the weapon.
With the sa phoenix’s magic, I ascended high into the air, leveling my body with Zagor’s head and making eye contact with him.
"No weapon can hurt in my final form!" he exclaid, moving his hand straight towards with his grip open as if he wanted to grab .
His voice was thunderous, with his raspy and deep roars echoing throughout the entire area.
"Too loud... shush," I muttered, charging the flaming string of my bow back, which produced a loaded fire arrow.
Zagor’s hand was coming for at a fast pace, but it felt as if it had been slowed down in ti before my eyes.
Just as it got a few ters close to my body, I released the fire arrow, which seed to completely disintegrate Zagor’s massive arm in the blink of an eye.
A second after his arm imploded, a massive trail of fire that destroyed the ground appeared behind the devil, who stood still with a perplexed expression.
Zagor tried grasping onto his lost arm, only to be t with blood dripping from his shoulder and looked back for a mont, seeing the massive fire trail that had traveled for kiloters into the jungle.
I couldn’t see how long the arrow had traveled since the trail of raised ground and fire extended out of my sight’s reach.
Truthfully, I was surprised at how powerful the attack had been, but the awakening must have had so effect on my emotions since I could tell that my expression was serious and unwavering.
Zagor roared again with desperation, but his voice was still obnoxiously loud, making pull back the string from my bow again as I kept my stare focused on the devil.
With all of his demonic power in tow, the massive monster launched his entire body at with one final desperate rush. However, his movents still seed too slow for .
"I said silence, idiot..." I muttered, releasing the fire arrow.
In the blink of an eye, Zagor’s entire torso completely turned to ashes, leaving his severed head and arm suspended in the air montarily.
A second later, the wake of destruction manifested, raising the ground and showing the trail of fire that my arrow had traveled. However, that ti, I saw it hit a mountain located far deep into the jungle.
As the devil’s head flopped onto the ground, I returned the flaming bow to Phelena’s Armory and descended, noticing that he was still conscious as the rest of his body parts were slowly disappearing into thin air.
I knew that when devils died, they had a few minutes to spare before their bodies turned to nothing since that was the mont that Armaros used to show visions of despair.
However, Zagor seed to revel in a different kind of feeling other than despair, and that was violence and war.
"The beastkin killer... The thief who stole my trophies..." his severed head said, which was as big as my entire body.
"This is why you are an idiot," I replied as I got closer.
"You still believe we were killing all those innocent people to get to you," I said, looking down at him with disgust.
"Did you think I destroyed the Terra Titan hearts?" I continued, leaving Zagor speechless.
"This entire nation will prosper again like I promised. You were just an annoying obstacle. Now die with the despair of knowing that your efforts were in vain, idiot..." I said, placing my hand on his forehead and producing a fla that burned him painfully while disappearing.
It may have seed sowhat cruel of to do that, but I felt like I went pretty easy on him, considering the atrocities he had committed.
If the devils liked sharing pain and despair with the people of this world, then I wanted to make sure to return the favor to them when I eradicated them.
After the last piece of the devil had disappeared, my awakening shut off instantly, making all of the flas that ford part of my body dissipate into thin air.
Right then, I could feel the pain of all my previous injuries coming to at the sa ti, giving my body a shock of excruciating pain.
I kneeled and groveled on the ground for a little as I opened my void pocket and took a healing potion, dousing it all over my face and drenching my body with it.
*sigh* "Is it over...?" I pondered to myself as I lay on the ground to catch my breath.
