810: The Tricks of Flattery 810: The Tricks of Flattery What was being said was no joke; the person was truly trying to ensure the continuation of the martial arts technique.

The most important point was that he hoped the Blood Clan could use this technique to increase their strength.

However, after all these years, no one from the Blood Clan had entered this place.

The only one who had co was Gu Lan, but he was not from the Blood Clan.

Seeing the hint of disappointnt in the figure, Gu Lan’s lips curled into a smile, and a knowing look appeared on his face.

Had he known this was the case, he wouldn’t have acted rashly earlier.

He could have simply used so clever words and gotten what he wanted.

“I understand your intentions, senior.

But now, think about it—if you don’t give this technique, you might have to wait another thousand years!”

“I do indeed value you, but you are not from my Blood Clan, and that goes against the rules I set up back then!” The blood shadow responded sternly.

Gu Lan sighed internally, feeling a bit helpless, but he couldn’t let his anger show at this mont.

“Since you acknowledge my strength, then why not give this technique?” he pressed.

“Afterward, I will pick strong individuals from your Blood Clan and return the technique.

Wouldn’t that be better?”

Gu Lan wasn’t trying to keep it for himself.

As long as there were suitable strong mbers of the Blood Clan, he could return the technique afterward.

His words clearly made the blood shadow think hard.

Gu Lan couldn’t see his face, but he was sure the figure had begun to waver.

After a few monts of contemplation, the blood shadow finally spoke again, raising his hand.

The wooden box containing the Blood Demon Kung Fu appeared in front of Gu Lan.

“You can take this with you, but after mastering it, you must pass it on to the Blood Clan.”

The figure had relented, and Gu Lan relaxed, a smile spreading across his face as he quickly took the wooden box.

“Thank you!”

With that, Gu Lan turned to leave, but just as he was about to exit, the blood shadow suddenly called out to stop him.

“Please wait.”

At the sound of his voice, Gu Lan turned slightly but did not face him, his curiosity piqued.

“Is there anything else, senior?”

Without responding to his question, the blood shadow walked toward the pile of shattered stone.

His eyes scanned the area, then he raised his hand.

“Boom!”

A burst of blood energy spread outward, shaking the ground beneath their feet.

A glowing blood-red orb appeared before Gu Lan.

The orb emitted a powerful blood aura, far stronger than anything from the Blood Clan itself.

Gu Lan’s eyes widened in shock as he stared at the orb.

He could feel the overwhelming power within it.

“Senior, what is this?” Gu Lan asked, confused.

The blood shadow simply pushed the orb toward him.

“This is the sum of my lifelong learning.

It contains my insights into the Blood Demon Kung Fu technique.

I believe it will help you.

As for the remaining power I have, you might not need it, so pass it on to my people.”

With those final words, the blood shadow vanished without a trace.

Gu Lan was left dumbfounded.

Just like that, he disappeared?

He didn’t hesitate, putting the orb away and rushing out of the palace.

He had obtained what he ca for, and there was no ti to waste.

Though he wasn’t sure of the orb’s use, he would have to try it later.

As soon as he stepped out of the palace, Xue Lengyan quickly appeared before him.

The mont she felt the fluctuations in his energy, her expression changed slightly, her brows furrowing.

“Did you get it?”

She asked cautiously, to which Gu Lan nodded indifferently.

“I’ve found it, but I can’t hand it over to you just yet.”

Upon hearing this, Xue Lengyan didn’t press further.

“I need to cultivate in your Blood Clan for a while.

Is that alright?”

Gu Lan asked, and if she disagreed, he would simply leave.

But Xue Lengyan agreed without hesitation.

“Of course.

I have already prepared a place for you to cultivate.”

She waved her hand, and the scenery in front of them distorted, revealing a crack in space.

She stepped through, and Gu Lan followed right behind her.

Monts later, they arrived at a secret place, and ti was of the essence.

Gu Lan didn’t waste any ti.

The mont he entered, he began channeling his energy, gathering a vast amount of true qi.

Seeing that Gu Lan had started cultivating, Xue Lengyan stepped back and disappeared without disturbing him further.

By the ti Gu Lan was outside the palace, he had already grasped the first level of the Blood Demon Kung Fu.

It was divided into three levels: the first, Blood Demon Descends, which consud life force in exchange for stronger energy; the second, Blood Demon Devours, which allowed one to absorb others’ powers; and the third, which Gu Lan hadn’t yet discovered.

Whenever he tried to focus on the third level, he could only hear explosions, and everything would go blurry.

He knew that mastery was only a matter of ti, but for now, he couldn’t afford to think about it.

With the insights the blood shadow had left him, it was much easier to comprehend.

As he absorbed more blood energy, he felt the power grow.

Initially, Gu Lan thought it would be difficult, but soon, he felt sothing strange.

With a sudden shock, he opened his eyes.

His body was now surrounded by blood energy.

“Have I mastered it already?” he muttered, surprised.

If it was this easy, how could the previous person have struggled so much?

Was it because of his extraordinary talent?

With confusion on his face, Gu Lan’s power surged, and his blood light flickered in his hands.

He sensed the energy, and his expression turned serious.

He raised his hand and struck.

“Boom!”

A violent explosion echoed as the space around him shattered.

Seeing such powerful energy, Gu Lan stopped experinting.

Having mastered the first level, he was confident he would soon grasp the second.

Though he intended to study Blood Demon Devours, he had only been cultivating for a few days when sothing strange happened with the Hongng Sword that he had left in the Jing Nation’s palace.

Feeling the disturbance, Gu Lan imdiately left and leaped into the air, heading toward the palace at incredible speed.

His movent caused quite a stir, and Xue Lengyan, who had been watching from behind, quickly followed.

She didn’t know what was happening, but her intuition told her sothing was wrong.

Gu Lan didn’t dare slow down.

After a few monts, he reached the royal palace, where he imdiately spotted several figures.

Among them was a towering figure holding a battle axe, exuding an oppressive aura.

This man had reached the Imperial Realm’s seventh stage.

These figures didn’t move, clearly waiting for him.

“Why have you co to the Jing Nation’s palace?” Gu Lan’s voice was cold as he brandished the Hongng Sword.

At his words, the group turned to face him, their faces cold and filled with murderous intent.

“You’re Gu Lan, the one who dared to harm Young Lord Xuanyuan.

We’ll settle the score with you!” one of them declared.

“So, it’s about that worthless person,” Gu Lan replied nonchalantly.

“If I hadn’t spared his life, I would’ve already killed him.

You should be grateful.”

“Don’t push your luck.

Otherwise…” one of the figures threatened.
