Ye Xiong’s eyes settled on Miao Chunhua, observing that the woman had a pair of triangular eyes and a pointed chin; her face was sharp, similar to that of a vixen.
As the saying goes, the face is a reflection of the heart. A woman with such a snake-like face was unlikely to be a simple character.
“You want evidence? That couldn’t be easier.”
Ye Xiong clapped his hands, and a figure erged from the crowd. When he appeared in front of Su Wei and Miao Chunhua, the couple was completely dumbfounded.
The person who appeared was none other than Duan Wu, the boss of San Xing She, whom they had sent to kill Yang Xinyi.

However, on second thought, such an incident seed plausible. Su Wei, being the biological son of Su Zhentian and the future successor of the Su Family, might fear another woman usurping his inheritance and therefore send soone to kill and silence her.
“Duan Wu, don’t spit blood! I didn’t do anything,” Su Wei said frantically.
“If I’m spitting blood, Su Wei, do you think I don’t know what kind of people you and your wife are?”
“What evidence do you have?”
“I have recorded all our phone conversations, including the evidence of your wire transfer to . I didn’t even leave myself a way out. Do you think I’ve been ssing around for the past dozen years?” Duan Wu said with a cold laugh.
“Take them all in for a thorough interrogation,” Li Song ordered.
Three police officers ca and handcuffed Duan Wu, Su Wei, and Miao Chunhua, preparing to take them away.
No one could have anticipated that, while Guan Liuzhen called the police to arrest Ye Xiong, not only did she fail to catch him, but her own son and daughter-in-law were arrested instead. The irony was inescapable.
“Please, I beg you, let my son go,” Guan Liuzhen ran over quickly, clutching Li Song’s clothes desperately, “My son would never commission a murder. You must have made a mistake.”
“Whether there’s a mistake or not, we’ll know after the investigation. Take them away.”
Guan Liuzhen knew full well that Li Song’s ruthlessness stemd from his fear of Ye Jun.
She only had this one son, and since she had no affection left for her husband, her entire future hinged on her son. Therefore, she could no longer care about her dignity and went over to cling to Ye Xiong’s trouser leg, crying, “Ye Jun, it was my fault for not recognizing your worth and offending you. I beg you, please let my son go.”
Ye Xiong withdrew his foot and ignored her.
Guan Liuzhen, seeing that Ye Xiong ignored her, ran to Yang Xinyi’s side, “Xinyi, I was wrong. For the sake of our future together, please spare my son. After all, he is your half-brother.”
Yang Xinyi also ignored her, rembering her arrogance from before, which made her angry.

The mother and daughter, who had been so haughty before, were now begging Yang Xinyi like dogs, a pitiable sight to behold.
At that mont, Yang Xinyi didn’t feel much pleasure from revenge, but rather pity for the two of them.

Yang Xinyi pushed his hand away and walked down the stage, ready to leave this place.
Ye Xiong followed closely behind. He couldn’t leave her alone in her current state.
“Don’t follow ,” Yang Xinyi turned and shouted.
“Xinyi, don’t get agitated,” Ye Xiong said anxiously.
Yang Xinyi felt suffocated, her mind full of jumbled thoughts. She just wanted to find a place to be alone and sort through the ss in her head.
Ye Xiong still followed her but kept a certain distance.
Suddenly, Yang Xinyi ran towards the door, eager to leave this heart-wrenching place as quickly as possible.
As soon as she stepped out of the room, she bumped into soone.
When she looked up and saw the person in front of her, she couldn’t help but scream.
Ye Xiong’s heart leaped, and he quickly chased after her.
