“Phoenix, about last ti’s incident.”
“This is a critical mont. If it’s unrelated to the mission, please put it aside for now. The chief sent us here to coordinate with your operation, so please give us your instructions,” Phoenix said in an indifferent tone.

Four cars, under the cover of night, headed towards the Duanmu Family residence in T City.

The four cars stopped about fifty ters away from the Duanmu Family villa.
No sooner had they gotten out of the cars, a man approached Ye Xiong and reported, “Duanmu Kuang is inside the villa, hasn’t gone anywhere.”
This man was soone Ye Xiong had arranged to keep watch.
“Prepare to move in.”
The team, taking advantage of the night, quickly advanced towards the Duanmu residence.
Phoenix made a hand gesture, and five Dragon Group mbers spread out, surrounding the entire villa, guns at the ready.
Once everyone was in position, Phoenix walked up to the front gate and attached a device to the iron door.
Upon activation, a loud bang sounded, and the entire door collapsed thunderously.
Phoenix signaled three team mbers to attack, and the three, guns in hand, charged in.
Just as the mbers entered, a sudden scream echoed, followed by a continuous whooshing sound.
Two team mbers were forced to retreat, each with several flying daggers sticking out of their bodies, and another team mber lay inside, unable to co out, his throat slashed by the daggers.
Seeing his team mbers peppered with flying daggers, Ye Xiong thought of Wu Wang’s words.
Ghost had a disciple, skilled in the Quick Blade, who nearly killed Duanmu Linglong. Two Dragon Group mbers trying to save her were cut relentlessly and died a grueso death.
Ye Xiong burst into the scene.
As he charged through the doorway, a flurry of flying daggers ca at him from all directions. In the darkness of the night, they were especially hard to defend against.
Ye Xiong, stepping through the Nine Palaces, listened to the wind to gauge positions and swung his dagger.
A series of tallic clangs were heard, most of the daggers were dodged, and a few were knocked away by his Cold Ink Dagger.
From the direction the flying daggers ca, Ye Xiong pinpointed his opponent’s location; he was hiding in a corner.
He leapt forward like a fierce tiger, and as he neared the corner, a streak of white light flashed in the dark.
So fast!
The speed of both the attack and the movent was extre.
No wonder the two team mbers were killed without a chance to fight back. The person before him truly had exceptional strength.
Where on earth did Ghost find so many skilled fighters?
Seeing the white light about to strike, Ye Xiong didn’t dodge but instead t it head-on, swinging his Aloof Divine Weapon fiercely at that gleam.

His dagger moved swiftly in his hand, and in the darkness, only the relentless swishing sound was heard.

After nurous slashes, the person before him, with severed tendons in hands and feet, collapsed to the ground.
Ye Xiong turned on the light, to find a seventeen or eighteen-year-old boy lying on the floor, with triangular eyes, feminine features, and covered in blood.
Sanyao looked at Ye Xiong in shock, not expecting him to be so formidable and easily overco his Quick Blade.
“I am Ye Xiong, codenad Reaper. When you go to Hell, rember to complain to Yama King. Don’t die without knowing how,”
This line, when Duanmu Linglong was being chased by Sanyao, was once spoken by Sanyao.
Now, Ye Xiong returned it to him.
“Soone, tie him up,” Phoenix ordered.
“No need.”
Ye Xiong reversed the dagger and stabbed fiercely into Sanyao’s chest, just like Sanyao had pierced through the chest of a Dragon Group mber.
Sanyao’s eyeballs bulged out, and with a white roll of his eyes, he completely died.
“Ye Xiong, you…”
“Ghost’s seven disciples have already lost three, and the remaining won’t live much longer,” Ye Xiong stated coldly.
He didn’t know that, in fact, four had died, and another was poisoned by Murong Ruyin while in the act with Wu Lizhen.
After Ye Xiong killed Sanyao, the morale of the Dragon Group soared, and the team rushed upstairs, searching every room.
Next, they encountered several mbers of the Beast Organization who tried to stop them. They were either captured or killed, but the figure of Duanmu Kuang was nowhere to be found.
“We’ve searched all over the house, haven’t found Duanmu Kuang,” reported a subordinate.
Could the news have leaked?

Could it be that at that mont, she phoned her father and let him escape?

“Search again and see if there are any tunnels or secret walls,” Ye Xiong ordered.
A few mbers searched the house again but still found nothing.
“Can this guy grow wings and fly away?” Phoenix’s brows furrowed as she asked, “Could the word have leaked out?”
Ye Xiong thought of Duanmu Linglong; if the word really had leaked out, then she was a pri suspect.
Right at that mont, his phone rang; it was Duanmu Linglong.
“Did you catch him?” Duanmu Linglong asked.
“Haven’t found him, not sure if the word has leaked out.”
“The room by the stairway, check under the bed for a hidden compartnt, see if he’s hiding in there?”
After Duanmu Linglong spoke, she quietly hung up the phone.
Ye Xiong swiftly went downstairs, kicked the door of the room open.
There was a bed inside, pushed against the wall.
Ye Xiong pointed at the bed, and two Dragon Group mbers moved it aside, revealing a small section of the floor.
There were two loose tiles on the floor with several very fine lines between them, which Ye Xiong wouldn’t have noticed if not for Duanmu Linglong’s tip.
This secret compartnt was truly well hidden.
“Duanmu Kuang, as one of the top figures of the Lingnan Sect and a well-known figure in society with many connections, do you have to hide like a turtle in its shell?” Ye Xiong coldly said towards the hidden compartnt.
No sooner had he spoken than the two tiles flew up into the air, hurtling toward Ye Xiong’s side.
“You guys get out.”
After instructing the two subordinates, Ye Xiong took a couple of steps forward and launched two punches.
The tiles, charged with Ye Xiong’s Inner Strength, were instantly shattered, and under the force of Luo Xuan Power, were sent flying back towards the other side.
Duanmu Kuang dodged the fragnts and stood at the entrance to the secret compartnt, his eyes like those of a venomous snake, intently staring at Ye Xiong as he asked coldly, “How can I, as a grand master of the Lingnan Sect and a renowned person in society who knows quite a few people above, be dragged here without evidence? Is there no law left?”
Hearing him speak like that, Ye Xiong couldn’t help but laugh.
“You talk to about the law, yet even your daughter is helping us. Do you think you can still be innocent?”
Ye Xiong pointed at the secret compartnt on the floor and said coldly, “Let tell you, the reason we knew you were hiding here was because Linglong told us.”
Upon hearing Ye Xiong say this, Duanmu Kuang’s face instantly turned as ashen as death.
