Mo Weiyi pressed her lips together, then coldly spat out the phrase, “As you wish!”

Mo Weiyi quickly turned and put both her arms around Su Wanwan’s, “Baby Wanwan, let’s go.”
Su Wanwan blinked and muttered, “…Ok.”
After they had left, Xiao Yebai squinted his eyes and followed suit.
Ling Zhizhou, frowned deeply as he watched the man’s tall, cold figure getting further away and reluctantly had to follow as well.

The breakfast restaurant was just across the road from the school’s entrance.
The premises were small and cramped.
As they walked in, two girls just finished eating and were about to leave. Su Wanwan rushed over, “Over here!”
Mo Weiyi walked over and sat down at a table against the wall.
Just as Su Wanwan was about to sit down next to her, she saw Xiao Yebai were standing by her side.
Without uttering a word, he just stood there and silently stared at her.
From a higher ground.
His gaze was cold and calm.
But it was clear that he had a purpose.
Su Wanwan’s mouth twitched slightly, leaving her no choice but to get up and walk to the opposite side of the table.

Xiao Yebai calmly sat down next to Mo Weiyi.
Ling Zhizhou asked, “Senior, what do you guys want to eat?”
Su Wanwan said, “One order of soy milk and fried dough fritters per person, and a basket of xiaolongbao.”
“Okay.” After Ling Zhizhou finished speaking, he looked at Xiao Yebai and asked, “Mr. Xiao, what would you like to eat?””
His intentions were good, but when Xiao Yebai looked up at him, his voice cold and tone blunt, “Have you been looking into ?”
Ling Zhizhou was shocked and hurriedly responded, “No.”
Xiao Yebai subtly lifted the corner of his lips.
“Ling Zhizhou, ignore him.” Mo Weiyi spoke once again.
Ling Zhizhou nodded in agreent, then turned around and left.
Soon, he and the restaurant’s owner brought over the breakfast, one by one, and placed the dishes on the table.
The three of them imdiately picked up their chopsticks and started eating.
Ling Zhizhou, sitting across from Xiao Yebai, watched him just sitting there, not eating, his face was cold and handso.
Honestly, he felt quite pressured.
Even though Xiao Yebai only seed a few years older than them.
Mo Weiyi didn’t speak, neither did Su Wanwan, and after being rebuffed by Xiao Yebai earlier, Ling Zhizhou didn’t dare to speak up either.
Compared to the bustling atmosphere in the rest of the breakfast restaurant, their corner was eerily silent.
After finishing one fried dough fritter and a couple of xiaolongbao, Su Wanwan glanced at Xiao Yebai and offered him so food, “Mr. Xiao, don’t you want to eat? We ordered quite a lot.”
Xiao Yebai responded indifferently, “I have already eaten.”
Su Wanwan: “…”
Damn it, if you’ve already eaten, then why did you co here?
She glanced at Mo Weiyi and saw that she had paused for a mont.

The truth was, Mo Weiyi had been distracted the entire al.
After all, Xiao Yebai was sitting right next to her. Even though he wasn’t saying anything or making any moves, she could feel his familiar presence lingering around her.
Realising that she was still easily affected by him, Mo Weiyi quickly grabbed a soaked fritter from her bowl and stuffed it into her mouth.
But due to her hurried actions…
With a “splat”, the soy milk splashed out from the fritter.
The white soy milk spurted everywhere, even splashing onto the table beside them.
Oh crap!
She cursed under her breath, her cheeks instantly flushed red.
While she fumbled to grab a tissue, a familiar male hand reached out from in front of her and quickly took away the napkin box.
She withdrew her hand and lowered her head.
The next second.
The sa hand placed the napkin box beside her.
Mo Weiyi caught a glimpse from the corner of her eye, her fingers twitched.
In that brief mont of hesitation, Xiao Yebai swiftly took a napkin, and with his other hand, he gently turned her chin to face him.
Mo Weiyi, wide-eyed and half of the dough fritter still in her mouth, had a little bit of soy milk at the corner of her lips.
She looked both surprised and dazed.
Xiao Yebai gazed at her lips, and his eyes wavered slightly.
Then, he took the napkin and wiped the corner of her mouth.
Mo Weiyi: “…”
She remained in a daze until he tossed the napkin into a nearby trash can.
She turned her head away and then lowered it once again.
Ling Zhizhou on the opposite side quickly averted his gaze as well.

The awkward breakfast eventually ended. Ling Zhizhou paid the bill and the four of them left the breakfast restaurant.
As they were about to leave, Su Wanwan suddenly spoke up, “Weiyi, we’ll go back first.”
Mo Weiyi looked at her in surprise.
Su Wanwan said, “You should have a good talk with Mr. Xiao.”
Ling Zhizhou also quickly added, “Senior, I’ll start self-study early too.”
“Bye.” Mo Weiyi smiled at him.
After the two left, she turned to look at Xiao Yebai, her face expressionless, her tone ice-cold, “The breakfast is done. You can go now.”
“Go back with .” Xiao Yebai responded out of context.
“I don’t want to go back.”
“Why not?”
Mo Weiyi looked at him, annoyed, “You tell why not?”
Xiao Yebai’s expression remained indifferent, “I have already explained, why are you still making a fuss?”
“Am I the one making a fuss?” Mo Weiyi’s voice involuntarily raised, struggling to control her emotions. “Then tell , why did you co looking for today to go ho?”
Xiao Yebai fell silent.
Seeing his reaction, Mo Weiyi beca even more irritated.
She quickly turned to leave, but Xiao Yebai grabbed her arm before she could get away.
“What on earth do you want?” he asked, his brow furrowing in irritation.
