Chapter 636: Chapter 628: Looking for Trouble Again Chapter 636: Chapter 628: Looking for Trouble Again He had already changed his clothes and was now sitting on the bunk where Tang Yuxin was currently lying, anyway, Tang Yuxin’s bunk was vacant, and she occupied his, while he served as her guardrail.

By their schedule, they were likely to arrive at the station around 7 pm and by the ti they reached the Tang family ho, it would probably be around 9 pm, so they still had an entire day to spend in the soft sleeper compartnt of this train.

On a regular day, Yuxin would certainly find such a journey extrely boring, given that one has to sit idle for an entire day and night without anyone to talk to.

Although she didn’t particularly enjoy chatting with strangers, having soone to converse with made the ti pass more easily than being all by herself.

However, this train ride experience turned out to be quite enjoyable, not at all like a train journey, but rather like being on a vacation.

“The train will make a stop soon,” Gu Ning turned over the book he was holding and then addressed Tang Yuxin.

Yuxin thought for a mont and realized that indeed, a major station was ahead where they would stop at around eight, and the train would stay there for quite a long ti, almost an hour.

...

“What do you want to eat?” Gu Ning asked again.

“Ah!” Tang Yuxin exclaid as she sat up.

“How could I forget about this?” Once they arrived at the station, there would be food, and an hour was definitely enough ti for them to have breakfast.

“I want KFC,” Tang Yuxin propped up her face thinking there wasn’t much that appealed to her—aboard the train, she couldn’t really eat much; in fact, it didn’t matter if she ate nothing at all, as there would be food once they got off.

So, when asked what she wanted to eat, the first thing that ca to her mind was to get so KFC.

After all, those food items might not be the best choice for a al, but they were great for passing ti.

“Okay, I’ll get so for you later.”

Gu Ning looked back and saw the back of Tang Yuxin’s head and her short, slightly fluffy hair.

He couldn’t resist touching it again.

It didn’t prick his hand anymore; it seed to have grown out a bit.

The train continued to move forward; sounds of people walking outside, others’ conversations—high and low, male and female—rged into a cacophony.

Until the train’s loudspeaker announced the station na—the largest stop on its route, where the train would rest for an hour.

Gu Ning had left, and Tang Yuxin stayed alone in the soft sleeper compartnt, reading books and snacking; she was having a good ti.

Not long after Gu Ning left, probably only about five minutes, soone else ca as soon as he left.

“This is the spot, I’m sure this is it.”

Several noisy voices arose, accompanied by the sound of footsteps that seed to draw closer.

Yuxin hadn’t expected it to have anything to do with her; on a train filled with people from all directions, even if soone were a fellow villager, they wouldn’t recognize each other unless they spoke.

Suddenly, bang, the door was flung open, and Tang Yuxin’s hand, which was reaching for a snack, froze.

As she looked up, she saw several people entering with their luggage.

Upon seeing that the bedding on the lower bunk had been changed and seeing their belongings on the upper bunk, their expressions turned sour.

“Who are these people, lacking any sense of decency?” A woman pouting unhappily muttered under her breath—the train belonged to everyone, not just those who bought the tickets.

How could anyone occupy other people’s space?

Talking to herself, she threw her suitcase onto the bunk where Gu Ning had been sleeping, collapsing the neatly folded bedding, and sat down on it without any courtesy.

Covered in dust from her travels, the dusty sll on her made it clear she’d endured a lot outside.

Another woman entered, checked her ticket, and upon seeing Tang Yuxin on her assigned bunk, her face lengthened more than a horse’s.

“Please get up, this is my bunk.”

She rudely threw her luggage onto the bunk and sat down atop it, nearly crushing Tang Yuxin’s feet in the process.

The woman’s anger was apparent, whether it was her mood or the sight of the unrecognizable soft sleeper that upset her.

Having paid for the service, she felt entitled to it and was thrown off balance at once.

Tang Yuxin put down her book, stood up, and put on her shoes.

Before she finished speaking, the woman who had thrown her suitcase scooped up the belongings on the floor and threw them up on the bunk, clear off all the bedding, made up the bed, then sat down and started chatting with the woman across from her.

They continuously ntioned things like quality, morals, and shalessness.

Tang Yuxin’s temples throbbed as she was almost driven to violence.

“What’s going on?” Gu Ning entered and imdiately sensed the atmosphere was off.

There were two extra people?

Had it not been for Tang Yuxin’s presence, he might have thought he walked into the wrong compartnt.

Exiting for a mont, he double-checked the number and confird it was indeed theirs.

Ard with a large red bucket, Gu Ning entered—Tang Yuxin’s desired KFC.

It was conveniently located just outside the station and took about ten minutes to get.

How long had he been gone for another issue to surface?

Could it be that Tang Yu was fated to attract trouble?

Tang Yuxin took the bucket and pointed at the two won.

“Uncle Gu, they said that we have no morals, that we’ve stolen soone else’s bunk.”

“Could it be?” challenged one of the won with a smirk, “Looking nice on the outside but acting disgustingly, taking what belongs to others and being so self-entitled.”

“I’ll get the stationmaster,” Gu Ning glanced at his watch; it was over half an hour till the train departed.

“I’ll go out and get so air,” Tang Yuxin said, holding the big bucket, not wanting to leave her KFC behind—she couldn’t tell who might end up benefiting from it now, considering how girls these days were…

So domineering.
