Song Xiaohui narrowed her eyes at Feng Fan. "You… What are you planning?"

She was convinced her analysis was correct. There was simply no way a Dao Seeking realm cultivator could stand against the hundred thousand strongest warriors of Green Mountain.

Feng Fan gave her a baffled look. "Lady, are you on your period or sothing? I'm not planning anything; I just want to finish this and go ho."

His blunt words made Song Xiaohui flush. She was on her period, but what did that have to do with anything?

Before she could retort, the envoy holding the staff cut in. "Are you certain you wish to proceed with the challenge? Since they attacked before it began, you are technically already victorious. There's no need to continue."

Song Xiaohui paled. This was the situation she'd feared the most: losing before even having a chance to fight. And all because of that idiot, He Peizhi, who couldn't control his temper. How could an idiot like him be their planet's strongest?

But Feng Fan waved the offer away with a flick of his hand. "What's the point in winning by default? There are too many like her who think they can take our place."

An ominous grin tugged at his lips. "Only by crushing them, without giving even a chance to resist, will they stop thinking we're an easy prey."

His smile sent a chill down Song Xiaohui's spine. She caught herself a second later and scowled. 'Am I feeling intimidated… by a re Dao Seeking cultivator? Impossible!'

Composing herself, she returned his grin with a graceful smile of her own. "You'll regret this."

The envoy didn't bother speaking further. If Red Pole insisted on proceeding, it was no concern of his. With a casual flick of his sleeve, he handed each participant a token, then slamd his staff on the ground. Two brilliant portals shimred into existence, leading to the pocket dinsion where the challenge would unfold.

"You may enter. The token will allow you to surrender, should you need it," the envoy added, directing the last words toward Feng Fan.

Feng Fan's grin widened. "They'll need it."

Without waiting for a reply, he shot toward the portal, leaving Fan Ying behind. She remained motionless, clearly having no intention of stepping inside.

Song Xiaohui gritted her teeth and kicked off the ground, seething at his arrogance. She lifted He Peizhi, forced a healing pill down his throat, and flew toward the army of one hundred thousand Green Mountain cultivators, ready to et the storm head-on.

"Let's go. I assu most of you heard the conversation," Song Xiaohui said calmly. Given the cultivation level of those present, the distance to the envoys was negligible. "We'll be facing a single opponent. Kill him without hesitation."

Laughter rippled through the Green Mountain cultivators. Most didn't take Feng Fan seriously.

But in truth, it didn't matter whether they viewed him as an ant or a dragon. Their civilization's access to cultivation resources hinged on this challenge. They would fight with everything they had.

Without another word, Song Xiaohui stepped through the portal into the pocket dinsion. He Peizhi might have been Green Mountain's strongest warrior, but she was its true leader.

Inside the pocket dinsion, Feng Fan glanced at the barren desert and let out a groan. "Barely a year, and I'm back here again. Hopefully for the last ti."

His hands glowed with spiritual qi as he swiftly traced runes into the air, weaving together a series of complex arrays. He wasn't planning to go on the offensive. There was no need to take unnecessary risks. Let Green Mountain make the first move. With their superior numbers and cultivation levels, they'd co charging in without hesitation.

Once the arrays were complete, Feng Fan sat cross-legged at their center, eyes closed, fully attuned to the trap he'd laid. As expected, it didn't take long.

A few hours later, five squads of scouts from Green Mountain located his position. A hundred of them encircled him, and one returned to camp to report, though most figured it was a formality. This would be over quickly, or so they thought.

The remaining scouts attacked in unison, spells and techniques lighting up the sky as they descended like a pack of lions upon their prey.

Feng Fan opened his eyes and scoffed. "Hmph. Dao Seeking and Return To Void cultivators? I could crush these kinds of weaklings with tier 8 arrays alone."

The attacks never ca close to touching him. The mont they reached within a hundred ters, a shimring barrier erupted into existence around Feng Fan. Not only did it block the incoming spells, but it also reflected them.

Half the scouts were killed instantly, their bodies torn apart before they even realized what had gone wrong. The reflected strikes rebounded unpredictably, creating chaos among the attackers. A few lucky ones escaped unscathed, but most of the survivors were left wounded—burned, bleeding, or battered by the devastating backlash of Feng Fan's rebound array.

"Th-this bastard is an Array Master! It's a trap, retreat!" shouted the scout leader, blood pouring from the stump where his arm had been monts before. He turned around and fled.

The remaining scouts didn't need to be told twice. None of them believed Feng Fan could wipe out Green Mountain's entire force of a hundred thousand, but they realized one terrifying truth—he had more than enough power to kill them.

Feng Fan's lips curled into a cold grin. "Since you've co all this way… what's the rush?"

With a flick of his hand, the desert trembled. Three colossal dragons of sand erupted from the earth, their roars shaking the air. They moved with terrifying speed, their massive maws devouring everything in their path. Even Return To Void cultivators had no chance to escape.

In the blink of an eye, the scouts from Green Mountain were shredded into pieces. The only one who survived was the scout who had returned to camp to report Feng Fan's location.
