Tan Wei found himself standing beside a small pond, surrounded by a wide expanse of undergrowth and grass stretching dozens of ters in every direction. Not a single tree was in sight.

In front of him, two disciples from the Heavenly Fire Sect stood grinning at him, their expressions full of mockery.

"Hey, look over there," one of them sneered. "Isn't this the so-called genius alchemist from the White Crow Sect? I thought you only knew how to cook soup. Who would've guessed you'd show up here, in the Combat category? Did you co to play around, or are you just asking for a lesson?"

The other Heavenly Fire Sect disciple chuckled darkly. "I think he's here for a lesson on how to play with fire, Senior Brother. Let's show him what real fire manipulation looks like!" Enjoy more content from My Virtual Library Empire

Tan Wei, the target of their mockery, maintained a cold, composed expression. His usual gentle and warm smile was nowhere to be seen.

The two Heavenly Fire Sect disciples unsheathed their weapons. One wielded a massive two-ter tal staff, while the other brandished a large, nacing scythe.

Noticing his opponents preparing for battle, Tan Wei calmly summoned his own weapon. With a faint ripple of energy, the Suppression Cauldron materialized before him, its weighty presence dominating the air around him.

The mont they saw Tan Wei's choice of weapon, both disciples froze in disbelief, their mouths slightly agape. Half a breath later, they burst into uncontrollable laughter.

"Don't tell this lunatic plans to fight us with a cauldron! Hahaha!" One of them roared.

"Senior Brother, this alchemist is completely insane! The White Crow Sect must be dirt poor if they can't even afford to give him a proper weapon!" The other mocked, laughing so hard he had to wipe tears from his eyes.

So of the spectators watching Tan Wei couldn't help but chuckle. While it wasn't unusual to see alchemists fighting, using a cauldron as a weapon? That was unheard of.

"Alright, let's finish this, Junior Brother. This idiot doesn't deserve any more of our ti," said the scythe-wielding senior brother with a dismissive tone.

"Reaper's Harvest!" He roared as a spectral skeleton wielding a scythe materialized behind him.

The blade of his scythe burst into dark, black flas, the temperature around him rising sharply.

The junior brother, standing to the side, didn't move imdiately. He waited confidently, convinced that there was no need for him to interfere.

'Senior Brother's going to kill him in a single strike,' he thought, a smirk creeping across his face.

But before the senior brother's attack could land, Tan Wei's hands moved in a fluid motion, forming intricate hand seals.

"Hades Impact!" He roared.

The Suppression Cauldron erupted into flas—not wild and chaotic like the black fire of the Heavenly Fire Sect disciple, but a calm, radiant fire that exuded hidden grace and power. Its fiery glow painted the air around it with a srizing brilliance.

The Suppression Cauldron hurtled toward the senior brother's scythe, the clash sending waves of flas rippling through the air.

As the weapons collided, the Heavenly Fire Sect senior brother's expression shifted from confidence to shock. He had assud the rusty cauldron would be easy to overpower, but he was gravely mistaken.

The tip of his scythe bent slightly from the impact. "Impossible! This is a top Profound-grade weapon! How could it be damaged by an old cauldron?!"

His question went unanswered, Tan Wei couldn't care less about his disbelief.

The senior brother tried to push forward, but the Suppression Cauldron emitted a forceful burst of energy, extinguishing the flas surrounding his scythe.

With the spiritual qi and fire stripped from his weapon, he was powerless to counter Tan Wei's attack. The cauldron slamd into him with devastating force, breaking several bones and sending him flying across the battlefield.

He crashed into a tree and slumped to the ground, his pristine robes now charred and fused to his burnt skin.

"Senior Brother!" the other Heavenly Fire Sect disciple shouted in alarm, his face twisting in anger as his senior was teleported out of the pocket dinsion.

Fury burning in his eyes, the junior brother turned to Tan Wei. "Bastard! Crazy Monkey Flas!" he bellowed.

A fiery, dancing monkey materialized behind him, its form crackling with volatile energy. Seizing the mont while Tan Wei's cauldron was still out of position, the junior brother charged, hoping to exploit what he believed to be an opening.

Tan Wei's expression tightened, readying himself to act, but before he could make a move, another figure dashed forward, intercepting the Heavenly Fire Sect disciple mid-charge.

"Divine Bull Fist!" the newcor roared.

A massive spectral bull materialized behind him, its golden horns gleaming nacingly as they aid straight for the disciple. The sheer force of its presence promised devastation.

The junior brother swung his staff in desperation to block the incoming attack. Staff and fist collided with a thunderous impact, but the result was clear—he was no match for his opponent.

The force of the punch sent him hurtling backward, his body twisting through the air before crashing into the ground.

Blood spurted from his mouth as he struggled to sit up, but his strength failed him. He slumped unconscious, and monts later, just like his senior brother, his body vanished, teleported out of the pocket dinsion.

The blond-haired figure straightened up, brushing off his knuckles as if the fight had been nothing more than a warm-up. He turned to Tan Wei with a serious expression.

"Junior Brother Tan, are you alright?" Asked the figure.

Tan Wei offered a faint smile. "I'm fine. Thank you for your help, Senior Brother Gong."

Gong Long nodded. "That was nothing. I just smashed an annoying mosquito. I'm sure you could've handled him on your own."

Tan Wei didn't respond to the remark, instead steering the conversation in another direction. "Senior Brother Gong, let's focus on finding the others while gathering orbs along the way."

Gong Long agreed with a firm nod. "Yes, let's stick to the plan. While Huang Xue, Xue Qiang, and Feng Fan focus on securing the highest points, we'll sweep through the outskirts, gathering as many of our disciples as we can. Once we've regrouped, we'll head toward the center together."
