998 Don't Like Being Watched
Xin and Gary both winced the mont they saw Jayden being hit with the fist. They had an idea of Jayden’s strength, even though he hadn’t transford.
They knew how sturdy he was, how firmly his feet were planted on the ground, which gave them an idea of just how painful Harvor’s hit was.
It had sent Jayden flying and even damaged the cage that was made with reinforced tal, designed for Altered fights to begin with.
Now, Jayden was on the ground with one knee, trying to catch air, while his opponent was seemingly fine from the initial attack from Jayden.
“What type of Altered even has that strength?” Gary wondered, trying to think even with all of his stats if he could match up to Harvor.
“I told you, once anyone faces Harvor, the image of trying to best him and beat him goes out of one’s mind,” Apollo said. “I’m confident in saying that I have one of the strongest Altered forms out there, yet not even I can beat him in a matter of strength.”
“And even you don’t know what his Altered state is?” Gary asked.
Apollo gave no answer, which was an answer in itself. Right now, although Gary was confident in his words about Jayden being soone for Harvor to look out for, he had to admit he was a little worried.
Staring at Xin as well from behind, he could see her legs were shaking. It was the first ti she seed afraid.

While the fight was taking place, there were many eyes glued to the arena itself, and if they weren’t glued to the arena, they were glued to the screens that were displaying the fight on mobile devices, live streaming services, restaurants, and more.
However, there were a few individuals who were able to continue as if the fight didn’t exist, and one of these individuals was Ice.
Having traveled with Gary and the rest, he was currently in the arena car park, one of the parking lots that was stationed a little away from the main arena where the fight was taking place.
The parking lot was void of people since everyone who had a car parked was there to watch the large fight. As for Ice, he had left where the car was, as he wandered into one of the corners of the lot.
He looked up at the corner and could see a cara moving from side to side. It was oval in shape but had a small red blinker.
Lifting his hand, Ice let out part of his Altered powers, freezing over the cara and completely blocking its view.
“That’s the fifth cara on this floor alone,” Ice said. “Am I still being watched? I hate this feeling.”
Ice continued to wander around on the floor he was currently on, and every ti he saw a cara, or even what looked like a cara, Ice lifted his hands using his powers to freeze them, making them useless.
He didn’t just go for the caras that were hanging on top of the walls. He had even used his powers on those that had obvious dashcams in the cars.
Eventually believing he had gotten rid of them all, he returned to the car and felt a little at ease.
He folded his arms with a smile on his face.
“That is a lot better. Now I can relax with my thoughts.” Shortly after closing his eyes, he opened them wide again. “Wait, the elevator.”
Following the path, Ice went to the elevator. Rather than heading inside, though, he decided to just press his hand on the outside of it and started to freeze the whole thing, ridding the caras in the elevator themselves as well as making the elevators useless.
“A good job done,” Ice thought as he went back to his car, as he would peacefully wait for Gary and the others. Now with nothing watching him, he could finally relax.
However, the caras losing signal didn’t go unnoticed, as a certain individual inside the arena had been aware of what had happened.
Stanley, who was on his tablet, was watching the fight through the screen in the waiting room. At the sa ti, he seed to be organizing a number of things when he received a notification.
“What’s this? All of the caras in the parking lot on floor eight have been destroyed?” Stanley thought. “First, Raven escapes, and now this. Just what is happening?”
Stanley quickly reviewed the footage of the caras being destroyed. It wasn’t exactly clear what was happening. He could just see a large figure going to each of the caras, and then they suddenly stopped working.
He was unable to see the use of powers.
“If soone is getting rid of all the caras, then it’s quite clear they are doing sothing they don’t want us to see,” Stanley thought, pushing his glasses back up to the ridge of his nose.
“It can’t be a coincidence. That place is where they will be turning up. Once Harvor is done with the fight, he was ant to head over there himself.”
“I don’t want him to cause any more trouble. Harvor seems more excited than usual, which can cause a lot of trouble for us.”
Clicking a few tis on the tablet again, a list of twelve mbers ca up on the screen. They were all green in color apart from one.
The one that was marked red was Peter, one of the twelve Zodiacs and the one that was found to be deceased.
“Usually I would send soone like Apollo to deal with this, but he’s busy viewing the match at the mont. I guess I have no choice but to send Simba to deal with it.”
“One of the Zodiacs should be more than enough,” Stanley said as he tapped on Simba’s na.
