The two large transford forms stood side by side, and as Gary looked at them, he no longer felt like he was looking at Altered beings or Werewolves.
Similar to when he saw Harvor, it was as if he was looking at ancient beasts that were ant to be gods. Ylva looked right ahead, at where Gary and Edvard were. A large grin appeared across her face, bearing all of her teeth. The mystic glowing energy that was swirling around her body started to form into what looked like a spear.
Then, as soon as it had solidified into more of a solid form, it was hurled from one end straight to the other. It went through the air at lightning speed.
Both Edvard and Gary reacted to it and jumped either side, but the spear could be seen heading right for Gary's face. He reacted by swiping at it, planning to attack it with his own power. When it crashed and hit his body, it exploded into energy that covered him entirely.
And he could feel it stiffening up his entire body.
'It's almost like I'm frozen or paralyzed, I can't move from where I am?' Gary thought.
It was a feeling of helplessness that Gary hadn't felt in a long ti, especially in his new powerful forms. Even now, he was still in the Shadow Ash Lycan form.
When he looked ahead as well, he saw Lupus jump from his position, a ring of energy distorted around him as he was in the air, and he had crashed down right in front of Edvard.
Edvard quickly went to strike, but Lupus's hand snatched out, breaking through. Just the movent of his hand had created a large force that pushed both of Edvard's arms away, and Lupus had now grabbed onto Edvard's throat.
Holding onto his body, Lupus pushed Edvard deep into the ground, making it seem as soft as butter, and then started to run up the large mountain with Edvard's body.
Lupus dragged Edvard's body, breaking it through the mountain, and then when they reached close to the top, Lupus hurled Edvard's body right into the air.
As Edvard's body spun rapidly in the air, he gathered his power around the rest of him.
'This is going to hurt!' Edvard knew, as Lupus was already above him. Lupus was strangely spinning in the air constantly, and with the montum, spun both of his arms right into Edvard.
His body crashed into the mountain, crumbling a large portion of it. The mountain was starting to crumble away as it practically had consud itself, and the rocks were falling down to the side.
Monts later, a shockwave ca out. As it reached parts of the city, it destroyed windows, moved furniture across, and several screams from the people in the city were heard.
While Gary was stunned, the rocks started to fall down from the side, and he was able to move again. He started to move, making his way toward Ylva using his Ember Dash.
As he started to shift only slightly down the hill though, another spear ca out and hit his body, stopping him in its place.
'Arghh, I can't avoid that spear, and Ylva seems to be fast and keeping her distance away from … it's almost like she knows where I'm going to move. How can she hit so clearly and from so far away?'
That was the least of Gary's worries though. The mountain had essentially crumbled to a few small hills. There was debris and fallen trees on top of each other, the battlefield was a ss, but now Lupus, who was stood up, was able to see Gary quickly.
He pushed off the ground and had co straight towards Gary while his body was paralyzed.
Just monts before Lupus's fist had connected with Gary's head, an arm ca out and punched the claws out of the way. Edvard was back on his feet, and the energy from his armor was glowing.
Lupus was swinging his claws, and Edvard was hitting them away as much as he could. He was drawing out the power of the armor, forcing it to do what needed to be done as the two of them fought against each other.
Until another spear had co out, and this ti, it had hit Edvard, breaking into dust and freezing his body.
[Volcanic Burst!]
Gary shouted, his whole body turning into flas, and he spun, hitting Lupus's body. It barely moved him, as Lupus had stopped Gary with a single hand. And then, with his other hand free, he swung it, hitting Gary right in the stomach.
[Last Stand]
The hit had flung Gary high up in the air. He was so high up that he could see the clouds. His body was starting to fall right back to the floor. It continued to fall, and that's when he could see the only reason Lupus hadn't followed up with another attack was because Edvard and Lupus were going back at it.
As Gary fell through the air, he was able to see the whole situation.
'I'm the one… that's making it hard for Edvard to fight. He's been protecting this entire ti. With the armor, even now, he can still put up against Lupus in this form.'
'The problem is though… Ylva. She's staying right at the back. She's not even going in to fight, but she's carefully watching, ready to throw the spear at any ti to stun us. It's like she's the perfect support for Lupus in this fight, which is just a mass of energy.'
'With the way things are… the two of us will be killed. We'll lose this fight… I didn't trust you before, Edvard… but you've already saved my life a few tis. In this situation, there's only one thing I can do.'
