The eting at the pub had put everyone on high alert. Knowing full well that the Altered hunters could be attacked during the day, and there was a high chance that they were the only ones left, they didn't even want to leave the place.
The issue was their equipnt. Their equipnt was spread out over the city in secret places. On top of hotel rooftops.
So of them in warehouse and storage rooms that had been rented out. All placed in spots that they didn't think the Lupus gang could get to or find out, all placed before they had attacked.
When the night and attacks ended they would return the equipnt to the sa place.
So the question was, were they safer just staying put or would they eventually get found out.
With the Altered hunters that were left, none of them felt safe just staying put and without their weapons.
"There's not a lot of us should we travel together in groups?" Joy asked. "Maybe we should just go to each location together."
"It will raise too much suspicion," Edvard answered. "I'm pretty sure since you guys' were attacked it ans that one of you are marked.
"I don't want to say this. But right now us who weren't attacked, Donald and are considered the safest. Ozacas might be considered safe as well since he entered at the tail end and then was attacked but there is a chance that they were following him as well.
"There is a high chance that they might have surrounded this place already."
It was even more reason for them to move quickly, and that was exactly what Edvard was getting at.
"The two of us will travel," Cooper answered. "I still have access to a lot of the surveillance, including where our items are at. We will be safe, and do our best to stay out of trouble. Where shall we et."
"The first Botanic Garden we took over," Edvard answered. "That's where I've set the location with the others.
"We already took out the Ironfang leader of the place, but if they have set up so werewolves there it will be a win win, they wouldn't expect backup to arrive so soon and it will help us clear the area, making us make so progress in this territory ga."
All of them agreed, and it was set for Donald, Ozacas and Edvard to travel together, to retrieve their items.
When exiting out, Edvard had gone out of the place first with the other two.
Right after he took the first turn down an alleyway and gestured for the others to stop.
Then he saw Cooper and Joy leave the place. They watched them take a turn and watched them for a while.
"Co on, let's go get your two items, it was the storage locker right?" Edvard said.
While Joy and Cooper were walking down the street together, Cooper constantly had his phone out and was swiping through screens.
They were changing caras from all over the city that looked over in particular places.
He was so focused that Joy even had to pull him to move him out of the way at tis, but as they walked she couldn't help but continue to huff and puff.
She had done so the whole way until they had eventually reached the hotel establishnt.
Cooper had set up the hiding of their equipnt including his own and Joy's.
He had chosen the hotel because they had a large amount of caras that he could shift through.
He could see if people ca in and out, and right now he could see if they were being followed or not.
As they made their way to the elevator he checked the cara. There were those that were walking but no one that appeared to be too obvious.
Right after they had pressed the top floor. The particular hotel only allowed access to certain rooms if they had the relevant key card, but it was sothing Cooper was able to bypass with ease as well.
When they reached the top, they looked for the ergency stairs, and then entered the rooftop.
Past that, there was a special tent set up, with a fencing around it and a lock. The lock was one of their own, and not one of the hotels.
Using a key they had gotten through the lock and the large crate with all of their equipnt was there.
"It's all here, and there's no one following us?" Joy asked.
"Not that I can see," Cooper answered. "Let's wear what we can under our clothes. I brought so of the large cases the hotel staff use where we can carry and hide our equipnt."
After saying those words and in the middle of getting ready, Cooper noticed that Joy had let out another big huff.
"What's wrong?" Cooper asked without lifting his head or turning to look at her.
"It's just that, did Edvard really ditch us because he thought the Lupus gang had a marking on us. Does he even care? If he did, then shouldn't he have suggested sothing?"
"You really don't know Edvard too well," Cooper said. "He cares a lot about the Altered hunters and a lot about people. Even as we left he was looking over to see if anyone is following us.
"To be honest if I was to guess, I would say, he had decided to take whoever he thought most likely had so type of marking on them."
Joy's eyes widened when she heard those words.
"Does that an, one of them three have the marking, shouldn't Edvard have said sothing!" Joy said.
"That is exactly my point you see. The only way Edvard probably could see to protect both groups, is to go with the one that was marked in the first place, while sending us off."
