The woman walked confidently with her high heels. She had a long, serious face as she paced into the ring with two n in suits following behind her.
Upon entering the cage, no one approached her. None of the Zodiac mbers tried to lunge at her or attack. Instead, it was almost as if they stepped away, allowing her to enter the arena.
It was a good thing that the ring being used was a specialized one, large enough for a championship bout; otherwise, it would be far too crowded in a regular fighting cage.
Other than that, though, Gary was looking at the individual who was brave enough to enter in the middle of all that was happening.
“Is she another mber of the One Gang? But she’s not wearing the sa clothes as them?” Gary comnted. On top of that, he had heard her words from before.
“No,” Jayden said with a weak voice. “That person… she’s Daphne Bree, the leader, the one in charge of the Bree Family.”
Gary started to think back to the lessons that Kai had ingrained into him. While in Slough, Kai thought it was important that Gary at least knew beyond what a normal person knew about gangs.
Such as who the Kings were and how things operated. From the information he knew, the Bree Family was not just one of the Kings; they were currently the biggest gang in the entire world.
Having bases set up in various different countries, the leader of all of that was right here in the ring.
“What is she doing here?” Gary said, worried that the situation might have just gone from bad to extrely bad. Now, though, he understood why none of the other Zodiacs were acting up and hadn’t jumped in on her.
‘If she’s one of the Kings, it ans she should be incredibly strong as well, right? So what’s her Altered form… it has to be sothing scary for her to walk into the middle of all of this and be unfazed,’ Gary thought.
“You coming in here right now and saying those words, what do you an the sides look uneven?” Harvor asked.
Almost in an instant, all of his attention had gone off Gary and was now focused on Daphne.
“Those are fighting words. Do you really plan to go up against us in a place like this?”
Daphne looked at Gary and his allies, who were standing in the center of the ring. She was eyeing them up one by one.
She knew she had to choose her next words wisely, but having co inside the ring with the others by her side, she had already made her choice.
“You always invite the other gangs to these events of yours,” Daphne said. “It’s quite clear what you had planned, and I’m just soone who is looking to take advantage of a certain situation.
“As of today, the Bree Gang will declare itself at war with the One Gang. If any business is detected in our cities, we will act imdiately, and we will do our best to cut off all funding of the One Gang!” Daphne said with a smile.
It was quite a shock to Gary’s ears and quite a statent to make in the middle of all of this ss.
“Young man, I hope this proves that our intentions are real with this one and that we too will be going up against the One Gang by your side,” Daphne said with a smile.
For so reason, rather than getting out of the current situation, Gary felt like he was being swept up into a sowhat bigger situation in that mont.
Right now, though, they needed more allies. Whatever her intentions were, they needed to get out of the situation alive and think about what to do after.
“To make such a statent in front of must an you truly have a death wish. I hope you know that you won’t be able to make it out of here alive.” Harvor said as he started to clench his jaw.
Rather than the fun he had while fighting, this matter seed to extrely annoy Harvor in more ways than one.
It looked like he was getting ready to punch her as she moved closer to the center, but that was when Park noticed sothing as he sniffed the air.
“Can you sll that… it slls almost annoying?” Park said.
“How can sothing sll annoying?” Austin replied. “Soone can be annoying, like you, but sll…”
However, Gary wasn’t so quick to dismiss the thought because he could sll it as well. It was almost like when soone cooked chili and it would hit you at the back of the throat.
Only this sll was more nacing. It was familiar to him, like a sll he had slled before, but for so reason, extrely agitating as well.
Before he knew it, his teeth on the inside of his mouth were starting to enlarge. As he turned his head to look in the stands, he could see a woman standing there next to two shirtless n.
The sll was coming from that woman.
“Now, now, what’s this?” the woman said. “If everyone is joining in on this ss, I don’t think I should be left out.”
The woman, along with the two n by her side, jumped from their position and landed right into the ring.
It was inhuman—the jump they had just perford with ease. As they landed, the two n continued to snarl, staring at Park and Gary.
“Who… is that?” Gary asked.
“I… have no idea,” Jayden replied.
However, Gary would soon know, as his system had popped up with another ssage.
