A few hours later.
Lucien and Sesha are resting in one of the many rooms of the mansion. The large king-size bed sinks under their combined weight.
Lucien lies back, lost in thought. Sesha smiles mischievously and approaches him. She notices how his gaze wanders to the two little white rabbits, and her smile widens even more.
"Darling~ my eyes are up here." She straddles him, pressing her chest against his.
"Hmm~ It’s just that my wife is very beautiful, and I realize that I am a very fortunate man." He whispers close to her ear, licking her body and his fangs slowly sinking in.
"Ahh~" Sesha lets out a soft moan, her cheeks flushed and her eyes red with desire, and she bites Lucien’s neck too.
When she drinks his blood, her desire intensifies; she is becoming addicted to his blood, it was like a delicacy from another world... much tastier and more exquisite than when they kidnapped him.
As they drink each other’s blood, Lucien moves his hand and grabs Sesha’s buttocks, feeling his little brother begin to awaken, his desire and excitent beginning to rise.
"Hmm~" Sesha stops drinking the blood and looks him in the eyes with a provocative smile, as if she were a succubus. "Darling~ you’re too delicious," she says, letting herself fall onto his chest and smiling as she feels sothing hard touching her sacred cave.
Lucien began to stroke her hair while maintaining a gentle smile on his face.
Suddenly, the pleasure dissolved in an instant when Lucien closed his eyes. A familiar presence, charged with anger and pain, seeped into his mind.
"Roxana," he murmurs.
Roxana, who has just arrived at Scarlet’s mansion, has a cold expression on her face. She looks in one direction, sensing that Lucien is nearby, and a smile appears on her lips.
"Another intruder. Today has been a strange day, with so many visitors... Hmm? Oh, it’s Lady Roxana." Kanata suddenly appears.
Roxana’s smile fades from her face, and she adopts a neutral expression: "Kanata, it’s been a long ti."
"Indeed. I know it’s pointless to ask this, but what are you doing here?"
"I ca to see my husband," said Roxana.
"This is quite a surprise... soone from the Vânt family, married to the cattle."
Roxana looks coldly at Kanata: "I’m not in the mood for your nonsense, Kanata. If you need to distract yourself, find soone else to put up with you."
"..." Kanata’s eyes glowed blood red; she was clearly upset. "You don’t seem to be having a good ti; sothing must have happened."
Roxana snorted, "Yes, sothing happened. All my servants were killed by the church dogs, and now that I’ve arrived, they call to tell that they’ve sold to another family... So yes, sothing happened, and I’m sorry if I didn’t want to listen to your nonsense."
"You’ve been through a lot." Kanata gives her a sympathetic look.
"Yes, so I just want to see my husband," she began walking toward Lucien.
...
A few minutes later, Roxana arrived at the room where Lucien and Sesha were.
As soon as she crossed the threshold, the sll of blood mixed with sweet perfu hit her full force; her brow furrowed, and the anger she had tried to control rose again in her chest.
For a mont, she thought about saying sothing... but she held back.
Her gaze swept across the room: the closed curtains, the ssy bed, the air heavy with recent warmth. Then she saw Sesha, reclining in a nearby armchair, distracted by her portable console, smiling as if nothing had happened.
That image was enough to dispel her anger a little; not completely, but enough to regain her composure.
Lucien, sitting on the edge of the bed, looked up when he felt her presence and gave her right thigh a light pat, inviting her without saying a word.
Roxana watched him silently. Her face lit up with a mixture of embarrassnt and tenderness, and after a sigh, she moved forward. She climbed onto the bed with slow, almost feline movents and crawled until she was sitting on his lap.
For a few seconds, neither of them spoke.
Lucien brushed a strand of hair from her face, and their eyes t. In those green eyes that once inspired fear, Roxana saw calm.
Then, with a slight blush, she murmured, "Now that I see you more closely... you’ve beco much taller."
Lucien smiled, amused by her attempt to hide her shyness. "Indeed. Becoming a vampire gave many things," he replied, with a soft laugh that made the air between them vibrate.
Lucien smiled slightly and placed a hand on her waist. With his right hand, he pulls Roxana’s waist toward him and then feels Roxana’s body brush against his.
Lucien gently slid his hand down Roxana’s thighs.
"!!!" A slight tremor ran through her body at the unexpected caresses. The air between them beca thick, warm, and charged with tension.
"I..." she managed to whisper, but her voice broke.
"Shhh." Lucien brought a finger to her lips, a gesture so gentle it seed like a sigh made flesh. Then he drew Roxana’s head to his chest and enveloped her in a slow, protective embrace.
"Are you okay?" he asked in a barely audible tone.
Roxana’s body trembled again. Her breathing faltered for a few seconds before stabilizing; then she let out a long sigh, as if the entire weight of the past few days had lted away in that instant.
Finally, she relaxed, resting her cheek against his chest, and replied in a weak voice, barely a whisper: "...Now I am."
Lucien smiled sweetly, one of those smiles that forms more in the eyes than on the lips.
"If you ever need to talk," he said as his fingers played with a strand of her hair, "you know I’ll always be here to listen."
Silence enveloped them. All that could be heard was the soft sound of their breathing.
Roxana smiled faintly, tired but sincere.
"I know... and I appreciate it," she murmured. "But right now... I just want to stay like this a little longer."
Lucien held her a little closer to him. "Then stay as long as you need."
His words were a refuge.
Roxana slowly closed her eyes, feeling the warmth of his chest envelop her, his steady pulse setting a rhythm that anchored her to life.
Lucien silently continued to stroke her hair, gazing serenely at her face.
