Song Yan Ning and her company followed the bandits to their lair.
Atop the low hills, there were several thatched huts, and next to the huts were fields where several won were busy working. It didn’t look at all like a bandit hideout.
“Who are they?” An elder ca up curiously when he saw the bandits bringing back Song Yan Ning and her group. The leader never brought anyone back when they went out robbing.
The leading bandit said with a pained expression, “They’re here to move things.”
“Move things?” The elder was stunned.
The leading bandit shook his head and sighed, “You guys go and move the stuff from the warehouse for them.” Those were items they had stolen with much difficulty, and now they would all have to be burned.
The bandits who went out with the leader nodded and headed towards the warehouse.
Before long, they carried over two large chests.
“These are the ones,” the leading bandit said, wiping his eyes in agony, trying not to let his tears fall. If he could do it over, he definitely wouldn’t have provoked these robbers.
“Open the chests,” Yun Mo said in an indifferent tone as he glanced at the chests.
The leading bandit hurriedly ordered his n to open the chests.
Upon opening, the chests were filled with Gold Coins and also so Spirit Stones. Gold Coins were the common currency in this world, while Spirit Stones were generally used for cultivation.
“Ningning.” Yun Mo looked toward Song Yan Ning.
Song Yan Ning waved her hand and a white, diamond-shaped Crystal Stone flew out of the chest. In her eyes, only the Gold Sand was sowhat useful. As for Gold Coins and Spirit Stones, she had plenty in her space.
“Let’s go,” Song Yan Ning said, tucking away the Gold Sand and turning to leave.
“Okay!” Yun Mo nodded and followed Song Yan Ning and the others. He had thought there’d be good items in the bandit den but it turned out to be only these.
The leading bandit watched incredulously as Song Yan Ning and her group walked away, taking a long ti to snap back to reality. Looking at the two chests of Gold Coins, he pinched his own face hard.
“Ouch! I’m not dreaming, hahaha…” The leading bandit rubbed his sorely pinched face, laughing happily like a fool.
Lingyue City was one of the ten major cities in the Lost Ruins. With its broad streets and endless shops, Song Yan Ning would have thought she was back on Earth if not for the clothes worn by the passersby.
A shop assistant was soliciting business at the door and his eyes lit up when he saw Song Yan Ning and her party, rushing over, “Would you like to stay at our inn?”
Elder Mie Yu shook his head, “Do you know where the Transmission Hall is?” After entering the city, they had already asked several people, but no one seed to know where the Transmission Hall was.
The assistant smiled and nodded, “I know, but the Transmission Hall won’t be open for another ten days.” Their inn had all sorts of custors, so naturally, he had more information than others.
“Why in ten days?” Elder Mie Yu asked, puzzled.
The assistant looked around and spoke softly, “It’s said that soone found a secret realm in the Devil Grassland. To prevent people from teleporting there ahead of ti, they temporarily shut down the Transmission Hall. Except for disciples from various sects, everyone else has to wait until after ten days to teleport.”
“Can you tell us the location of the Transmission Hall?” Song Yan Ning asked.
“This…” The assistant showed a troubled expression.
