93 I Don’t Dare, Milady

I looked at Tom who was also looking at . My heart felt heavy when I thought he would leave . But, it hurt even more when I thought he would die for real.

If I were to think rationally, I would have let him go back to his body. I didn’t mind being separated from him for a bit, as long as I knew that he would eventually return to my side.

But, this ti it was different.

I didn’t know if he would co back or not. I didn’t even know if he would still rember or not.

There were too many possibilities that made scared to let him go.

But, I reminded myself again that there was a high possibility of Tom being alive; breathing, warm, and... human.

Even though it was hard, I decided to let him go.

“Milady?” Siji was waiting for my decision.

“Send him back.” I was surprised to hear my own voice sounded so weak.

.....

“Jane.” Tom hugged tight. “I will stay if that’s what you want to do.”

I shook my head. “I’ll wait for you. Just co back safe and sound. You do know that I have Sanji beside . If you take too long to return, I’m afraid you...”

“No!” He cut off. A smile blood in my face as my intention to tease him succeeded.

His face hardened as he glared at . “Don’t you dare!” He growled.

I chuckled. “Go...” I pushed him lightly.

“Jane, promise you’ll wait for .” He pleaded.

I nodded my head. “Of course.”

Only after hearing my answer that he released his hold on my body and walked towards Siji who was waiting so patiently.

“I’m ready.” Tom stood in front of Siji.

Siji reached out and widely spread his fingers. His thumb and point finger touched Tom’s forehead while the others were covering Tom’s eyes. Seconds later, I saw Tom’s transparent body disappeared bit by bit. My heart thumped loudly and painfully as I watched him disappeared.

When he was finally no where to be found, I found Siji frowned slightly.

“What is it?” I squinted my eyes. Don’t tell you send him to a wrong place, I said in my mind.

“Nothing, Milady.” Siji bowed slightly. He looked calm but sohow I felt that he was hiding sothing from .

“Siji, you better don’t hide anything from .” I reminded him.

“...I don’t dare, Milady.” He lowered his head. “It’s just... I detected sothing from him, an aura not belong to him is in his body.”

I frowned. “Is it harmful?”

“I have no idea, Milady. I didn’t have any chance to look into it before he went. Seeing the way the owner hid its aura so well, I could only guess the owner is powerful.”

My frown got deeper. I was worried that it would bring trouble to Tom even before he returned to his body.

“Is there any other way to know where his body is?”

Siji shook his head, but then he stiffened. “Actually, there is one way to know it.” He looked at with serious gaze in his eye.

“Speak.” I really hoped I could hear good news from him.

“By following the thread of one of his family mber. The closer the mber to him, the clearer the thread is. It ans, it will be a lot easier to follow. As long as one is still alive, the thread will not be broken.”

“I didn’t know such thing exists.” I exclaid. Finding a close family mber of Tom was not a hard one. I could either choose his mother or Uncle Ben.

“But...” Siji stopped talking hesitantly.

“What?”

“How you do it, you need to learn it from Sir Sadewa.” Siji seed restless.

“Who is this Sir Sadewa? And where do I find him?” Seeing his expression, the problem must lay in the way I could find him.

“He is an elder, well-known in our dinsion. You can’t find him. He will appear in front of you if he wants it. There’s no way to find him either way.” Siji smiled apologetically.

I sighed. Of course, there was no easy way to it. “I’ll think of a way. Thanks, Siji.”

“My pleasure, Milady.” With that, he disappeared.

I crawled back under my blanket and laid down silently. As I glanced at the clock on the grey wall, I saw it had passed two o’clock in the morning.

I sighed softly. Too many had happened in this past months. I needed to set my mind straight before I was consud by this weird power in .

Finally closing my eyes, I took a deep breath and breathed slowly. My body started to feel the flow of energy around my body. With the white-clothed army standing on guard, the energy around filled with positive vibes, creating a cool and soothing sensation in .

I felt safe.

With that feeling inside, I finally fell asleep again.

I heard noises.

There were many people talking at one go. Were they debating?

I opened my eyes slowly. The blur image slowly beca clearer.

A frown ford in my face as I realized the odd around .

Could soone, please, tell where I am now?
