Chapter 13: Complicated Crush (1)
A week later, I finally had started my life as a college girl. Things seed to get better and I really enjoyed my campus life. All the seniors didn’t seem to be scary anymore and I also had known so of the lecturers.
Ah, I thought love was starting to bloom as well after the initiation. I could see so of the seniors were getting hooked up with the juniors. Well, they clearly were hitting on them softly and smoothly.
It’s not my business, I know. But, it was not a lie either to say that many female juniors were falling in love with the male seniors. They had their own idols among the seniors, but so of them had to be ready to be broken heart as their idols didn’t pick them.
Well, maybe I would feel the sa, too, if Senior Rizal chose another girl and not -not that I was ready to be in relationship, though.
Whatever it was, I would just have to go to campus and enjoy my life, right?
“I’m heading out now...” I shouted out a bit as I ran out from my room.
“To where?” Tom asked.

“Campus, where else?” I looked at him in confusion. “Please, take care of my room.” I smiled at him.
“Okay...” He replied. “Take care!”
I nodded as I locked my door. I ran down the stairs and went straight to the campus. The weather was pretty nice and I was thankful for the shades of the trees covering the unpleasant light of the sun all the way to my lovely and respectable campus.
“Hey, Jane...” I stopped as I heard soone called my na. As I turned my head to see the person who called , I locked eyes with Senior Dino, who was known from his smiling eyes that made him looked cute.
“Hi, Senior Dino...” I greeted him.
“Ahaha... Sorry, did I startle you? You want to go to campus?” asked him.
“Yes. I want to check on my Academic Advisor.” I said.
“Do you want to go together?” He offered.
“Thank you, but I’m fine. I don’t want to be a burden to you.” I smiled, rejecting his offer as polite as possible.
To be honest, I really wanted to accept it. But, a woman couldn’t be too easy, right? Hahaha.
“Oh no, you don’t. Co on. Let’s go together. I don’t mind at all.” He insisted and I started to act like I was thinking, considering his offer seriously.
“Emm, I don’t know. Is it really okay?” I asked slowly. Definitely acting.
“Or, maybe, are you scared your boyfriend might see you with ? I get it...” He said then.
What a great line to check if the girl is available or not! Feel my sarcasm? I smirked inwardly.
There was an urge to laugh hard hearing his words, but of course, I could control it. “Ah, it’s not like that, really. Boyfriend? Ahahaha.... no way...” I laughed gently.
“Then, what are you waiting for? Hop up!” He said quickly.
I hid my smirk really well as I finally nodded and thanked him for offering a ride. I got on his motorcycle, and after he told to hang on, he started the engine and the wheels started to carry us to our faculty. It beca faster and faster, but I didn’t feel scared at all. I was enjoying it actually. As he slowed his speed, I knew that we were getting closer to the faculty.
Wolf-whistles and shouting welcod us as he parked his motorcycle in the parking lot. I was nervous and I could feel my face getting hotter.
Oh no, it shouldn’t happen. I could only blush when I was around Senior Rizal!
“Is it just or am I listening to the sound of bird chirping?” Senior Dino said, a little bit loud as he smiled mischievously towards his friends -the other seniors.
“I just happened to realize that I love birds.” Senior Mario, the one who whistled to us I believed, said jokingly and made the sa sounds again.
“Dino, you’re cheating! You always want to steal the first start.” It was Senior Ando’s turn to say sothing. I didn’t even know if he was joking or not.
“Thank you, Senior...” I said to him before I left. I really should leave this place before I froze. He nodded and smiled as he said ‘you’re welco’ to .
I left them, ignoring the shouts and tease they gave to us. I stepped on the stairs as I let out the breath I had been holding. This was going to be crazier than before.
“Ehem...” I turned my head to see the owner of this husky voice, I saw Tom one stair behind .
“Tom...” I said in surprised.
He chuckled lightly. “I saw you...” He said in teasing voice.
I frowned. “What do you an?”
“Don’t hide it. I saw you when you shyly refused his offer but deep inside your heart, you really wanted it.” Tom said again.
Ah, I gulped nervously. He saw it? It was embarrassing!
