The girls in the class were all extrely excited, except for Ye Anhao. She admitted that the boy nad Ouyang Yifeng looked very handso, but her heart didn’t stir in the slightest. She had never been particularly interested in handso guys.
She quietly retracted her gaze and began to focus on her own tasks. Compared to the boy on the stage, she found the three-dinsional geotry problems on her desk much more attractive.
She was bent over, pondering where to draw the auxiliary lines, when she heard a commotion from all around her.
"Where do you think Teacher Li will arrange for him to sit?" one of the girls asked.
"How would I know? But it would be great if he could sit next to ," another girl said, her eyes full of hope.
"Ouyang, you can sit in the middle, third row," the horoom teacher said.
The third row?
The students were a bit surprised. That was the golden spot in the class, just the right distance from the blackboard and at a good angle. Many students in the class had requested that seat from the horoom teacher but had never succeeded. The teacher’s reason was that the best seat should be reserved for the top student in the class. It would remain empty until the midterm exam rankings were out, and then they would decide who could sit there.
However, what they didn’t expect was that this golden seat was ultimately given to a dark horse.
But for the girls in the class, they didn’t mind having Ouyang Yifeng sitting there at all. As for the boys, they were generally broad-minded and didn’t fuss over such things. Even though they wouldn’t admit it, they were a bit jealous. Being handso really brought a lot of advantages.
Ouyang Yifeng was assigned the seat in the middle row, and the girls nearby were thrilled. As the saying goes, "The pavilion closest to the water enjoys the moonlight first," sitting near him might just an... hehe...
But to everyone’s surprise, Ouyang Yifeng didn’t intend to follow the horoom teacher’s arrangent.
"Teacher, can I not sit there?"
Ouyang Yifeng’s voice was just as enchanting as his appearance. His eyes were smiling, and despite the rogue and assertive edge to his smile, it was hard to find him unlikable.
The horoom teacher’s expression stiffened montarily before returning to normal. He asked in a deep voice, "Ouyang, if you don’t want to sit there, then where would you like to sit?"
That morning, the principal had personally gone to the gate to welco Ouyang Yifeng and had specifically instructed to give him special attention.
Although the horoom teacher didn’t know Ouyang Yifeng’s exact status, it was not hard to guess that he was soone significant. Otherwise, the principal wouldn’t have personally greeted him and acted so deferentially.
So as long as Ouyang’s request wasn’t too excessive, the horoom teacher would try to accommodate him.
Ouyang Yifeng lowered his gaze and scanned the seats below the podium, his eyes finally resting on Ye Anhao’s head.
He raised his eyebrows slightly and turned to the horoom teacher with a smile, "Teacher, may I sit next to that student?"
Imdiately, all the students turned their eyes to Ye Anhao, who was completely unaware until her tablemate vigorously nudged her arm.
"Anhao, Ouyang Yifeng wants to sit in the sa row as you!"
Ye Anhao finally realized what had just happened and looked up at the boy nad Ouyang Yifeng. She saw him slightly curling his thin lips into a rogue smile—an absolute nace.
Ye Anhao frowned. He wanted to sit in the sa row as her?
But she didn’t want that. Although this boy wore an innocent-looking handso face, she knew very well that he was definitely not soone easy to get along with.
