Ouyang Hao stood frozen on the spot, like he had been hit by an immobilization spell, unable to move. Everything happened so suddenly; he never imagined that Lin Yixun would say sothing like that to him at this mont.
After a long while, he finally snapped back to reality, stamring, "Yixun, wait, I... I’ll co over right away!"
Saying that, Ouyang Hao dashed out of the office like a whirlwind. On his way out, he accidentally bumped into several people. It wasn’t until he got into his car that he realized his fingers were still trembling uncontrollably.
Ouyang Hao let out a helpless laugh, leaned back into the leather seat, and muttered softly to himself, "Ouyang Hao, you’ve really fallen this ti."
Who would have thought that soone as wild and unruly as him would one day fall for a woman? Yet he was willing to accept it gladly, wishing only to be firmly in that woman’s grasp for the rest of his life.
All the way, Ouyang Hao was like a child who had finally gotten his candy, silly grinning from the agency all the way to the hospital. He floored the accelerator, wishing he could fly to the hospital instantly. But in the next mont, he slowed the car down.
He was no longer alone; he had Lin Yixun. He couldn’t afford to be reckless anymore.
The door to the hospital room was flung open with a bang, startling both Lin Yixun and her mother. When they looked closely, they saw it was Ouyang Hao.
"Oh, it’s Xiao Ou. Co in and have a seat."
Ouyang Hao politely nodded to Lin’s mother and asked with a smile, "Auntie, how are you feeling?"
"A bit better, thank you for your concern."
"That’s good to hear, that’s good."
Even though Ouyang Hao said those words, his eyes never left Lin Yixun. Lin’s mother noticed that Ouyang Hao seed to have sothing he wanted to say to Lin Yixun, and Lin Yixun had been acting strangely since she ca back from the cafeteria.
As a mother, she naturally had to create an opportunity for them, so she said to Lin Yixun, "Xiao Xun, mom feels like having so cantaloupe. Could you go downstairs and buy one for ?"
"Okay, sure." Lin Yixun nodded, then slowly walked out of the hospital room.
All the way, Ouyang Hao followed behind her. Both of them were a bit nervous and didn’t know what to say, so the silence persisted until they reached the fruit stand.
"Boss, how much is the cantaloupe per pound?"
"Eight yuan eighty cents."
"Give one, please."
After buying the fruit, Lin Yixun walked out of the fruit stand but saw the shop owner chasing after her, "Miss, I haven’t given you your change!"
Lin Yixun then realized she had been so distracted that she forgot to ask for her change. She smiled awkwardly and took the change from the shop owner.
When she looked up, her gaze inadvertently t with Ouyang Hao’s, and she quickly looked away, feeling her face heat up.
Seeing this, Ouyang Hao found it amusing and chuckled, "Why is your face red?"
"No, it’s not!"
"It really is. Want to get you a mirror?"
"Ouyang Hao!" Lin Yixun raised her eyes and glared at him fiercely.
"Alright, alright, I won’t tease you anymore." Ouyang Hao stepped forward, took the cantaloupe from her hand, and held her hand.
Lin Yixun tried to pull away, "There are people around."
"Oh? So does that an if there were no people, I could hold your hand?"
Lin Yixun was montarily speechless and lowered her head in embarrassnt.
"If you keep walking with your head down like that, are you hoping to find money on the ground? My girlfriend, Ouyang Hao’s, wouldn’t be so shabby, right?"
"Who’s your girlfriend?"
