They walked through a long corridor that was likewise filled with intricate carvings.

Following behind the Fire Spirit Queen, Richard couldn’t help but admire her gracefully curved back and her captivating figure.

Her long legs, revealed through the slit of her gown, were enough to keep his eyes from blinking.

Naturally, the Fire Spirit Queen could sense his gaze and knew exactly where he was looking.

She could only pretend that nothing was wrong.

Soon, they arrived at the dining hall located at the rear of the palace.

It was still indoors, yet open to the outside, overlooking the back of the palace.

The flaming lake was far from an unpleasant sight.

Beautiful crimson plants floated across its surface, and from time to time, golden fish leaped out of the flames.

They even possessed transparent wings like the Spirits themselves.

Richard looked at the dining table, which was already covered with dishes.

The food wasn’t entirely different from what humans ate. There were lobsters, crabs, and fish.

However, these were species that didn’t exist in the Land of Human.

Two young and charming maids, dressed in crimson gowns, stood behind the table and respectfully bowed to the Fire Spirit Queen.

"You may leave," the Queen said with a wave of her hand.

The two maids looked rather surprised.

If they left, only the Queen and the man who had e with her would remain.

It would practically be like a private dinner.

Naturally, they couldn’t disobey her order and quietly departed through another corridor.

The Fire Spirit Queen then turned her attention back to Richard.

The dining table had only two large chairs, both exactly the same.

"Were there always two chairs here?" Richard asked as he sat down before the Queen had even invited him to.

The question seemed rather difficult for her to answer.

Without saying anything, she took the seat across from him and gestured toward the table.

"Please, enjoy. I don’t know whether Spirit cuisine suits your taste, but humans generally like it," she said.

"I’m sure I’ll like it," Richard replied.

He pierced a piece of crab meat with his fork and brought it to his mouth, immediately discovering its sweet flavor blended with countless spices he had never tasted before.

"Amazing," he said while chewing before quickly taking another bite.

He then began trying the other dishes, including the vegetables.

The unfamiliar yet delicious flavors gave him the sensation of discovering an entirely new world and gaining insights he had never imagined.

"If I’d only stayed in the Land of Human, I would’ve thought food was limited to what humans could make," he remarked.

"I used to think the same before I left the Land of Spirit," the Fire Spirit Queen replied with a gentle smile.

She couldn’t help recalling her own past when she had first experienced foreign cuisines.

"It seems I now have three great desires," Richard said.

"Oh? And what are the other two?" the Fire Spirit Queen asked curiously.

"Naturally, being stronger... and dating the most beautiful women. I used to think those were the only two things worth pursuing as a man. But apparently, there’s much more."

The Fire Spirit Queen fell silent.

"There are countless things worth pursuing. If you only chase those two, people will think you’re a frog at the bottom of a well," she said, sounding as though she found the conversation rather difficult.

"Those two things are simply too dazzling for a man’s eyes," Richard replied with a chuckle.

"By the way, Your Majesty, I heard the Star Spirit King proposed to you and promised peace if you agreed to marry him. Is that true?" he asked.

The Fire Spirit Queen frowned slightly, wondering where Richard had heard such news.

How had he learned about it so quickly despite only arriving in the Land of Spirit? After all, it wasn’t information that had spread widely.

Unable to lie, she simply nodded without offering any explanation.

"He’s far too presumptuous," Richard said with a frown, catching the Fire Spirit Queen by surprise.

"I’ve encountered things like this many times, so there’s no need to worry. No one can force me into anything, and we Fire Spirits have never feared destruction," she replied.

"Your Majesty, you wouldn’t reject every man who proposed to you, would you?" Richard asked.

The Fire Spirit Queen instantly felt the urge to smack her forehead.

She was beginning to realize that Richard was still under the influence of the wine.

In the end, he was still dwelling on this topic.

"That’s a question without an answer," she replied with a quiet sigh.

What else could she possibly say?

There simply wasn’t a definite answer.

If she ever fell in love, how could she reject the man she loved?

Or if she believed a man was truly worthy of standing beside her.

Richard gave a slight nod and continued eating, allowing the Fire Spirit Queen to breathe a quiet sigh of relief.

Yet every time Richard looked at her, her heart couldn’t help but beat a little faster.

That little boy had truly grown into a mature man with the charm of a real gentleman.

The Fire Spirit Queen wanted to sigh again but decided against it, fearing it would be too obvious.

DING!

(Your Affinity with the Diamond Element has increased from 7% to 30%!)

(Diamond: 30%)

Richard received the notification while he was still eating.

He had expected this to happen sooner or later.

Even so, the improvement was greater than he had anticipated.

From 7% to 30%, he discovered that he could now manifest three different types of diamonds.

That didn’t mean one was weaker than another. Even the first diamond had bee stronger.

Essentially, each possessed its own unique characteristics in addition to their unmatched durability.

It wasn’t surprising that the Diamond Element had such variations, considering it was one of the greatest elements.

Curious, Richard transformed his Aether into diamond above his palm.

A diamond ring immediately took shape, its crystal shimmering in transparent, blue, and green hues.

It had no elaborate design, yet it exuded undeniable elegance.

The Fire Spirit Queen was stunned.

With her perception, she could immediately tell that the ring had been created entirely through Richard’s magic rather than taken from a Storage Artifact.

But why had he made a ring?

Judging from its size, it was obviously too small for a man’s finger.

It would fit only the slender finger of a woman.
