"I still think I should go back..."
"Mr. Shirakawa, please don’t make it difficult for us."
"..."
If the other party was from a different faction, Shirakawa Sawahei might have retorted, "What if I insist on making it difficult for you?" However, since the opposite party was from the influence of the little transparent girl’s family, Shirakawa Sawahei didn’t want to cause a big conflict that would make the girl feel guilty and sad. So, he could only nod helplessly, "Alright then, but you have to give a lift to a place on your way."
"Please."
Shirakawa Sawahei thus got into the car. In just a few traffic lights’ ti, the boy carrying a luggage bag disappeared with the black business car, giving off quite a strong vibe of a kidnapping scene.
Not having ti to put the stuff back ho, he simply took it all with him. Since the first convenient stop was the ho of cute little Ise Yu, Shirakawa Sawahei specifically requested them to stop the car far away, then walked by himself to his girlfriend’s doorstep.
The stout man in a suit watched from a distance, revealing an understanding expression.
So he was going to talk to his girlfriend... It’s no wonder, since the boss wants us to bring him over, it must be for a few days. Informing his girlfriend isn’t too much to ask...
Shirakawa Sawahei hugged his little slacker cutie, told her he’d co back in a couple of days to help her move, then waved goodbye to his girlfriend.
Suit-clad bouncer: Young people these days... always so entangled in relationships (sighing...)
Before long, the business car started up again, heading to the next destination, this ti to Tsukimi Sakurazawa. Given the identity considerations here, Shirakawa Sawahei had no choice but to call Tsukimi out instead of going to her doorstep himself.
Suit-clad bouncer: ???
Didn’t he just hug a girl earlier? How is he hugging another one now!!? And even kissed this ti!!? Am I the only one who finds this absurd?
He quickly exchanged glances with his partner, only to find the other was just as baffled. Instantly, a sense of balance settled within him.
So it’s not just who hasn’t seen the world...
Upon returning to the car, Shirakawa the scum brought back with him the slightly astonished gazes of two yakuza bouncers. He didn’t offer any explanation, simply waved his hand.
"Let’s go, to the next destination."
This round was to the Hayakawa family. Shirakawa Sawahei didn’t let them blatantly storm the Hayakawa family’s tower—after all, this could be considered an interaction between two factions, and going there unprepared would surely cause various issues.
So, he got off the car, instructing the two to stay put while in the car.
Suit-clad bouncer: Aba aba aba aba...
This is near the Hayakawa family... Could it be that this guy is looking for...
Damn? It really is that rising star Miss Kaori from the Hayakawa family!?!
As a not-so-uninford yakuza lieutenant, the suit-clad bouncer obviously felt his perception was rocked...
Holding hands! Again, he actually motioned for Miss Kaori to co over and hug him!?
Is this still human behavior? He actually dared to try to be scummy with the future heir of the Hayakawa family...
Oh, no. He’s actually scummy with the future heir of the Hayakawa family!?
Over there, Miss Kaori glanced this way slightly, seed to say sothing to Shirakawa Sawahei, and after receiving a reply, frowned. The suit-clad bouncer promptly shifted his gaze away with his partner...
This ti, upon returning to the car, Shirakawa the scum was t with the stunned gazes of two yakuza mbers, almost dumbstruck...
I’ve really never seen such a scene before...
"Let’s go, you can take to see your boss now." Shirakawa Sawahei said calmly.
The suit-clad bouncer remained silent for a mont. After all, being one of Tachibana Kaisuke’s close aides, he was tasked with escorting Shirakawa Sawahei... However, as things reached this point, he suddenly felt sothing was amiss.
This guy... Could it be that he’s being called over by Boss Tachibana because he scumd our Miss Kaori?
Hmm... No, if he had already scumd her, it wouldn’t be a cordial eting invitation but rather a trip to Tokyo Bay... In other words...
This guy is planning to scum our Miss Kaori!?
Recalling how Boss Tachibana unexpectedly brought out the long-concealed-in-secret, supposedly deceased-in-the-public-eye Miss youthfully this year, the suit-clad bouncer felt he was onto so earth-shattering secret...
Shaful scum, our Miss Kaori is so pitiful, how dare he harbor such ulterior motives!?
...
There was naturally nothing to talk about along the way, the atmosphere awkward. Shirakawa Sawahei vaguely felt that the stout man had so change of heart earlier after contemplating sothing, his face suddenly altered, and then he wouldn’t even engage in small talk. Curious, Shirakawa Sawahei tried to probe.
"Is recruiting into your yakuza strict?"
"Um."
"Does joining the yakuza also require qualifications?" Shirakawa Sawahei was a bit surprised; could this yakuza side actually be quite official?
"I graduated from Nagoya University."
"I’m from Stanford."
"..."
Shirakawa Sawahei silently took back his earlier words in his heart.
Who ever said being a yakuza mber doesn’t require diplomas? This employnt is harder than general enterprises!
Inside the car, the air slowly grew tense again. The suit-clad bouncer thought for a while, seemingly unable to suppress his curiosity, probed.
"Those things you just did..."
"Just basic operations."
"..."
The suit-clad bouncer was montarily speechless, both he and Shirakawa Sawahei put on airs, ceasing to stir up trouble.
Let’s all pretend nothing happened.
Getting out of the car, Shirakawa Sawahei was led by the suit-clad bouncer to a He Style Courtyard. Though all were with He Style decorations, unlike the classical and graceful Tsukimi family style, the ho of Miss Tachibana Tomoku, or rather the Tachibana Kaisuke’s organization headquarters, appeared aggressive and grand, everything was simple and sharp, fallen leaves swept clean, the entire courtyard was extensive.
From afar, Shirakawa Sawahei saw soone sitting at a stone table, faint tea aromas rising in front, seeming to await soone. Yet before he could scrutinize further, the suit-clad bouncer brought him over.
"Boss, Mr. Shirakawa has been brought over."
The middle-aged man addressed as boss nodded lightly, looking up to reveal a stern countenance, impressive in aura. He glanced at Shirakawa Sawahei and lightly pointed to the seat before himself.
"Have a seat, Mr. Shirakawa."
Seating himself, Shirakawa Sawahei faced a middle-aged man with focused yet seemingly sharp eyes. Although a ruler of his age could typically keep emotions hidden or, like Asano Fūsei, conceal sharpness in unnoticed places, it was clear that Tachibana Kaisuke was gearing up for the forthcoming conversation.
"Need I introduce myself?" Tachibana Kaisuke slid over a cup of tea, speaking in a deep tone, "Please."
Receiving the cup, Shirakawa Sawahei nodded.
"I’ve only t Tachibana’s mother, never you."
"I know, China has ntioned it." Tachibana Kaisuke replied calmly, "It seems you have ntally prepared for today’s proceedings."
"But before that, I wish to discuss matters concerning my daughter."
