In the understated luxury of the car, Shirakawa Sawahei and Hayakawa Kashi sat in the back seat, facing each other in silence.

Miss Kashi’s silence was due to her reading a book. The entire car felt hardly any vibration or noise, making it an excellent environnt for reading. As for Shirakawa Sawahei’s silence... he simply had nothing to say...

Just a few hours ago, he and Little Arrogant Study Girl participated in that piano competition, unsurprisingly crushing all the other pianists present and smoothly winning the championship.

The imnse strength gap and the topic generated by the two contestants undoubtedly caught the dia’s attention. They sward in one after another, brandishing their microphones right in Shirakawa Sawahei’s face.

"Mr. Shirakawa, are you and the other contestant a couple? Soone at the scene said you are the ’Neon version of Condor Heroes.’ What’s your opinion on this title?"

"Mr. Shirakawa, did you easily win the championship this ti because the opponents were too weak, or are you too strong?"

"Mr. Shirakawa..."

Hayakawa Kashi seed to have anticipated such a scene long ago. Without even a shadow in sight, she left the poor Shirakawa Sawahei to face the reporters’ questions alone. He was sowhat annoyed by this group of people and didn’t answer a single question, just squeezed through the crowd and ran out.

"What the heck is with Condor Heroes? Are you implying Hayakawa Kashi has a baby-faced look? Don’t bla for not warning you; if she hears this, your news agency can kiss its operations goodbye."

"Hayakawa, just a few minutes ago, we were such a harmonious team, but now we’ve beco the most familiar strangers..."

"I think you should take responsibility for this matter."

After finding Miss Kashi, Shirakawa Sawahei couldn’t help but start complaining about her ditching him to run. However, Miss Kashi’s response was quite straightforward.

"I’ll treat you to a al."

"It’s settled then."

Wearing the prepared baseball caps, the two quietly slipped out from the backstage. There was no need to worry about collecting the award; Akihisa High School had achieved such a great honor, it was impossible to let the duck fly away once it was in their hands.

He and Little Arrogant strolled leisurely down the street, occasionally exchanging a few words in low tones, not feeling awkward at all. Seemingly worried that the girl beside him might be thirsty, Shirakawa Sawahei even stopped along the way to get her a cup of li tea.

"Here, consider it a return for treating to a al."

Miss Kashi accepted the li tea with interest and said, "Does Shirakawa also like lemon flavor?"

"Not really, it’s just quicker to make two of the sa drinks."

Hayakawa Kashi’s smile grew wider, and instead of being annoyed by this straightforward reasoning, she found it rather amusing. She gently bit the straw, took a sip of the cold liquid, and said, "This ti, Shirakawa did quite well in the competition."

"Wasn’t it Hayakawa who initially asked to find Asano Nazuki? And now you’re praising ?"

"Did this competition give Hayakawa so inexplicable confidence?"

Miss Kashi lightly glanced at him and said, "No need, I’ve always been confident."

"Confident enough to say you’re not as good as your sister?"

"That’s the truth," said Little Arrogant lightly. "At the ti, I really wasn’t as good as her."

"What about now?"

"Still a bit lacking, but not much," added Little Arrogant. "Speaking of which, it’s all thanks to Shirakawa’s help..."

Seeing the vague expression in Hayakawa Kashi’s gaze, Shirakawa Sawahei couldn’t help but cough lightly and said, "Mainly, it’s because Hayakawa worked hard herself..."

"I worked hard for a long ti, and I didn’t expect to make such progress after practicing with Shirakawa for less than a month... Could it be that Shirakawa is my lucky star?"

"Hayakawa is joking, you’re my lucky star."

"Well, it’s mutual."

After this exchange, the two fell silent for a mont. Although Shirakawa Sawahei felt sowhat guilty, he thought to himself that no matter how incredible Little Arrogant’s intelligence might be, she probably wouldn’t guess about the system. At most, she would suspect that practicing together made progress more efficient.

Initially, you were my Study Girl, and later, I’ll be your Study Mate. It’s perfectly reasonable! What a perfect arrangent!

But then again, soday out of curiosity, will this girl drag away for dissection?

Shirakawa Sawahei silently chose to put a little distance between himself and Miss Kashi...

"Where are we going now?"

"Near where I used to live," explained Shirakawa Sawahei. "There’s a restaurant there. When I first arrived in the big city, I had no money and ate there many tis."

"Oh? Is Shirakawa soone who has emotional attachnt to food?"

"You’ll see when you get there."

The two walked forward, crossing several streets. Along the way, Miss Kashi showed no signs of complaining and didn’t exhibit any pampered deanor. She followed Shirakawa Sawahei to a seafood yakisoba store and stopped at the entrance.

"Seafood yakisoba?"

"You’ll know when you go inside... Yuuki, long ti no see."

Shirakawa Sawahei lifted the curtain and greeted the young man at the entrance. The young man was initially stunned upon seeing Shirakawa Sawahei, then exclaid with joy, "Brother Shirakawa! You have ti to drop by!"

"It’s been a long ti since you moved away, why do you have ti for a al today?"

"Soone is treating to a al, and I just rembered Uncle Sakura’s cooking, so I brought her here... Is it convenient to cook today?"

"Convenient, of course convenient. Dad has always hoped you’d co to keep him company... Understanding his taste, probably only Brother Shirakawa can do that." The young man laughed, "Dad will be delighted, he’s always said it’s not fulfilling to cook Neon cuisine... Dad! Co out quickly!"

"What are you shouting about, rushing around like that; can’t you be steady... What nonsense!"

A middle-aged man in his fifties ca out of the kitchen, grumbling. He was of dium build, neither fat nor thin, with a ruddy complexion, and slightly scruffy facial hair. The man glanced at Shirakawa Sawahei and then at Hayakawa Kashi beside him.

"Good... not bad..."

The middle-aged man pointed to an empty spot in the corner and said, "Go over there and wait; Uncle will start right away... Yuuki, co over here and help!"

Shirakawa Sawahei was stunned, unsure of what Uncle Sakura ant by "not bad"...

Not bad, who’s he praising?

"Okay, Dad... I’ll clean the table for the guests first..."

The two sat down facing each other, and after arranging ice water, Yuuki went to help his dad in the kitchen. Evil Little Arrogant cast him a curious glance, seemingly unable to guess what Shirakawa Sawahei was up to.

Seeing the intrigued look on Miss Kashi’s face, Shirakawa Sawahei explained, "The chef of this place, the uncle from earlier, spent a long ti in Huaxia and learned how to make authentic Chinese cuisine. When I had no money, this uncle treated to many cheap but delicious dishes. The flavors are quite good."

As Shirakawa Sawahei spoke, he moved his glass of iced water toward Hayakawa Kashi’s side, "You’ll get to taste it later."
