Wen Qiao has this little habit of scrolling through food vlogs before sleeping every night. Being tempted alone isn’t enough for her; she always ropes Fu Jinghen in. Last night, the two snuggled in bed, and as Fu Jinghen held her while watching videos, they saw a food vlogger eating dumplings. He then ntioned having dumplings the next night.
Right after he said this, he saw that Wen Qiao had already closed her eyes and fallen asleep, resting her head on his chest. Who would’ve thought she’d actually heard it.

After ssaging Fu Jinghen, Wen Qiao lay on the couch for a while longer, ready to get up and start tidying up, when she heard the doorbell ring.
"Back so soon?"
She mumbled to herself, walked to the door, and peeked through the peephole. Seeing the two people standing outside, her joyful smile instantly vanished.
She opened the door just to realize more than two people had arrived. She looked expressionlessly at the two won standing at the front: "Why did you co?"
"We ca to celebrate New Year’s Eve with you."
"No need." Wen Qiao spread her arms, blocking the entrance: "I’m not in a good mood, so don’t be friends with anymore."
"Got it, got it, we’ll part ways after this al." Jiang Yao ignored Wen Qiao’s sour expression, nudged her aside, and entered the room with stuff in hand.
Ye Shengnan followed behind, also carrying two large bags.
Lin Ruochun had empty hands, carrying nothing, yet Qin Xiang standing beside her was holding a gift box.
Lin Ruochun took a step forward and said, "Brought you a gift. Although it’s not as good as the bag my brother gave you, it shouldn’t be much worse. You can carry it casually when you go out. When this one wears out, I’ll give you another."
Wen Qiao snorted: "I’ll give you that. Co in then."
Only then did Lin Ruochun gleefully walk in, rember Qin Xiang behind her, and turn back to beckon him: "Co in, be careful not to damage the gift I gave Wen Qiao."

Fu Jinghen opened the door with the groceries he’d bought and was montarily stunned by the lively scene inside.

Fu Jinghen laughed: "I’m concerned there might not be enough ingredients."
"There’ll be enough; Jiang Yao already bought everything. If they showed up empty-handed, do you think I’d let them in?" Wen Qiao said, "Go wash your hands and change your clothes; we’re having hotpot tonight. The dishes are ready; we’re just waiting for you to start eating."
"Alright."

Qin Xiang and Ye Shengnan hadn’t t each other before, and Fu Jinghen didn’t have much of a relationship with Ye Shengnan either. The three of them weren’t really familiar.
But with three won present, these three n could only count as adornnts; no way the atmosphere would cool down.
White mist rose from the pot, and the red oil bubbled and churned inside. The three won chatted away, one sentence after another, while the three n played their babysitters, serving them with dishes, cooking at, and refilling drinks.
