Lying on the hotel bed, Wen Qiao didn’t know that her man had already caught the eye of another young lady. Listening to Fu Jinghen’s answer, she couldn’t help but be a bit surprised, "Are you actually in line yourself?"
"What’s up?" Fu Jinghen detected her astonishnt and chuckled, "Can’t I queue up to buy sothing you want to eat?"
"Well, not really..."
She just felt that Fu Jinghen certainly wouldn’t have done sothing like this before.
Wen Qiao imagined Fu Jinghen, tall and distinguished, standing at the entrance of a small alley breakfast spot, moving forward little by little with the crowd, feeling both amused and touched.
Just as she was gearing up to praise him, she suddenly heard a gentle female voice co through the receiver.
"Handso guy, hi, can I add you on WeChat?"
Fu Jinghen didn’t expect that he would one day be asked for his WeChat in the street. After a mont of stunned silence, he quickly responded, "Sorry, but I can’t. My wife would get jealous."
The man’s voice was gentle and polite, and even though she was rejected, the girl didn’t feel embarrassed.
"No, no, no, I’m sorry, I should be the one apologizing for bothering you." The girl waved her hands repeatedly, her face reddening with excitent, "I wish you and your wife a happy and everlasting marriage."
Fu Jinghen smiled sincerely, "Thank you."
The girl, stunned by Fu Jinghen’s smiling face, stood frozen in place. As she ca to her senses, her cheeks flushed even more. She didn’t dare look at him anymore and turned to scurry away.
"Yo." A mocking sigh suddenly ca through the receiver, "Handso guy, can I add your WeChat? I’m rich, I’m pretty, and I’m not clingy."
The latter part was Wen Qiao improvising.
"Sure, is your WeChat the sa as this phone number? I’ll add you later." Fu Jinghen laughed, playing along with her act, "But what if I like clingy girls? Would you be able to change just for ?"
"Dream on! You really start running a dye shop the mont you’re given so color. Now making demands on too," Wen Qiao’s tone suddenly turned sharp, her expression turning fierce, "Going out to buy breakfast and still managing to attract admirers, how flashy are you dressing up, huh?"
"You’re wrongly accusing now; I was just honestly queuing to buy you breakfast, I didn’t do anything." Fu Jinghen defended himself, "And I didn’t look at any other won."
"You might not have looked at other won, but other won looked at you! That ans you’re attracting them," Wen Qiao started being unreasonable, "I’m ordering you a head cover right now. Next ti you go out, put it on, so other won can’t see you."
"OK, as long as you don’t feel embarrassed, I’m fine with anything," Fu Jinghen was compliant with Wen Qiao.
"Then, then..." Wen Qiao hesitated for a mont, then thought aloud, "When you go out with , you don’t need to bother with that. A face as handso as yours needs to be shown off."
"I’ll listen to you," Fu Jinghen coaxed her, "I’ve already rejected her; baby, please don’t be mad, okay?"
Before Wen Qiao could say anything, he quickly added, "Even if you hadn’t been on the phone with , I wouldn’t have given her my WeChat."
