Between Jiang City and Hai City, the distance wasn’t far, being only about an hour’s flight.
After the plane landed, Wen Qiao had almost cald her reluctance to part ways with Fu Jinghen, and had regained her spirited and vigorous deanor.
The news that the Jinhua Award ceremony was being held in Hai City had been released early. In recent days, celebrities were constantly seen entering and leaving Hai City Airport, and the fans arriving for pick-ups were endless, prompting an increase in the number of security personnel at the airport.
A sharp-eyed fan spotted Wen Qiao and exclaid with delight, "Qiaoqiao! Wife! Look here!"
This shout not only attracted the attention of the surrounding crowd but also successfully caught Wen Qiao’s attention.
With that as a start, other fans followed suit, especially a few male fans mixed in among them, who loudly called her "wife."
Wen Qiao pulled down her sunglasses, looked over, and dozens of faces filled with surprise suddenly appeared before her eyes.
Jiang Yao said by her side, "Your fans have co to pick you up. Want to go over?"
"Of course I’m going. Why not?" Wen Qiao took off her sunglasses, waved at them, and said to Jiang Yao, "Without a man by my side, I can only rely on my adorable fans to fulfill my childlike heart."
"..." Jiang Yao looked at her speechlessly, "Do your fans know they are stand-ins for your man?"
"They won’t bla ."
Wen Qiao straightened her clothes and smoothed her hair, looking as excited as a child on their first day of kindergarten. She asked Jiang Yao, "How do I look? Is my condition alright?"
Seeing Jiang Yao and Xiao Chu both nod, Wen Qiao, cheerful as a little bee, dashed towards the fans waiting at the exit.
"How long have you been here? Are you cold?" Wen Qiao asked as she began signing autographs for the fans stretching their notebooks towards her from all directions, "You young girls need to take good care of yourselves. Don’t neglect your wellbeing just for the sake of beauty."
She caught a glimpse of a few tall figures and quickly added, "And the boys too, should wear more."
The fans nodded in agreent.
Each ti Wen Qiao took a notebook from a fan, she looked at their faces twice to rember them. When a younger female fan handed her a notebook, which was much larger and thicker than what other fans had brought for signatures, Wen Qiao felt sothing was off.
She looked at the fan with a gentle smile, "Little sister, what year are you in high school?"
The young female fan was startled by Wen Qiao initiating a conversation and imdiately answered, "Senior year."
"Senior year, huh—" Wen Qiao drew out her words, closed the notebook in her hands, "Although today is a weekend, there’s still a possibility of classes for seniors. You’re wearing your school uniform and carrying a notebook, you didn’t skip class to co here, did you?"
The young female fan was taken aback again and as she t others’ gazes, her cheeks slowly turned red, "No, no..."
The young girl’s tone was clearly lacking confidence.
Seeing this, what more did Wen Qiao need to understand? She grasped the young girl’s wrist to prevent her from running away, "Skipping class to chase after stars, you’re really bold. Co on, big sister will send you back to school."
The other fans laughed upon seeing this.
Just then, Jiang Yao ca over to remind Wen Qiao that it was about ti to leave.
Wen Qiao nodded, said goodbye to the other fans, and pulled the young girl into the car.
