"How can you not help ? You’re a signed artist at Huasong, and each of your endorsents and dramas brings a decent commission. You’ve made a lot of money, and with your increasing fa, the benefits you bring to Huasong and will only grow, not diminish."
Fu Jinghen didn’t say things like, "You bring joy every day, and that’s how you help ." He knew Wen Qiao didn’t want to hear sweet nothings now, so he chose to discuss this matter from a businessman’s perspective.
"There’s sothing I haven’t had the chance to tell you yet. Gu Yi has decided to enter into a long-term partnership with FS, and the legal departnt is already drafting the contract."
"Huh?" Wen Qiao lifted her head from Fu Jinghen’s shoulder, guessing, "Because of ?"
"Who else could it be?" Fu Jinghen looked at her stunned expression and pinched her cheek, "Who else but my baby could be so charming?"
"You’re just flattering ."
"It’s not flattery." Fu Jinghen smiled at her, "ES seriously values your comrcial worth, and that’s why they decided on the long-term partnership. They also didn’t waive your endorsent fees because of the relationship between Huasong and FS. Your comrcial value has increased several tis over the past few months, so baby, you’ve made double profits from the sa person."
"Really?" Wen Qiao, gripping his collar as if to confirm, brought her face closer to Fu Jinghen, "Then why didn’t you tell sooner?"
With such beauty before him, if Fu Jinghen weren’t moved, he might as well consider becoming a monk.
He quickly pecked Wen Qiao on the lips, "I just haven’t had the chance yet."
Wen Qiao was still calculating how much endorsent fee she had left after the commission was taken and didn’t bother to nag about Fu Jinghen’s sneak attack.
After rough calculations, she frowned, "You businessn are really rciless, aren’t you? I didn’t even realize before, but so much of my endorsent fee was taken away?"
Fu Jinghen patted her back, "The commission is just for show to others, I’m already in your hands, and in the end, all this money is still yours."
That seems about right.
Thinking this, Wen Qiao decided not to fuss over it anymore.
"Didn’t I tell you how when FS was having cash flow issues, it was our mom who helped out? So, if you hadn’t gotten engaged to and FS couldn’t pull through, there wouldn’t be a Fu Jinghen today, let alone anyone liking ."
"Our mom..."
That rolls off the tongue quite smoothly.
Following Fu Jinghen’s leads, Wen Qiao’s thoughts branched out, and suddenly she found a breakthrough, slapping Fu Jinghen’s arm fiercely, "That’s right, or you wouldn’t have t Yang Lan either. My mom really aided a cri here, if I’d known, I would’ve definitely stopped her from funding your family."
Fu Jinghen looked at Wen Qiao, now cleared of gloom, and felt reassured; he was worried she would obsess over negative thoughts.
"So, baby, do you still feel like you can’t help ?"
"I don’t think so anymore." Wen Qiao shook her head, "Now I even think I’m your lifesaver."
Fu Jinghen didn’t comnt on the title Wen Qiao gave herself, proposing in a negotiable tone, "Can baby then not say those hurtful words that upset anymore?"
Wen Qiao pouted, "But I was just really angry at that ti."
"Even when you’re angry, you shouldn’t say things like asking to find soone else or pushing away."
