Wen Qiao gave him too many surprises today, his mood had not yet returned to calm, and now the person he was constantly thinking about lay defenseless in his embrace. If he had no reaction, he’d need to go to the hospital to have his body checked.

In fact, Wen Qiao and Fu Jinghen hadn’t shared a bed very often. They had only been engaged for less than a week when Wen Qiao flew to Hang City to film, and other than the occasional tis when Fu Jinghen visited her on set, resulting in them sleeping together, the number of tis Wen Qiao monopolized the whole bed far exceeded the tis they slept in each other’s arms.
Wen Qiao’s body had not yet adapted to the presence of Fu Jinghen, and tonight, as he held her to sleep, her body, once asleep, had a mind of its own and had been restless the whole night.
At first feeling hot, she rolled away from Fu Jinghen’s embrace, even managing to kick him in the process. Fu Jinghen, kicked awake, felt the emptiness in his arms and sleepily opened his eyes to see Wen Qiao nearly falling off the bed.
Fu Jinghen stretched out a long arm, scooping her back into his embrace, and closed his eyes to continue sleeping.
Just as he was about to fall asleep again, the person in his arms began to fidget.
Wen Qiao wriggled a couple of tis, and Fu Jinghen felt sothing light on him—the blanket that had covered both of them was nowhere to be found.

He had always known that Wen Qiao was restless in her sleep, but he hadn’t expected that after so ti without sleeping in the sa bed, she had beco even more so.
He lifted his head in search of the blanket, eventually finding it piled up on the other side of Wen Qiao.
Fu Jinghen chuckled; the clever girl had not been foolish enough to toss the blanket aside without wrapping her feet in it.
He was about to pull his arm from beneath Wen Qiao’s head to fetch the blanket and cover them both when sothing flashed before his eyes, and suddenly he felt a weight on himself. Wen Qiao’s arms and legs pressed down on him, pinning his movents firmly.
Fu Jinghen sighed helplessly, turned his head to glance at Wen Qiao, who was sleeping soundly, and, unable to resist, pinched her cheek.
Interrupted from her sleep, Wen Qiao subconsciously furrowed her brow, humd a noise, turned her face away to dodge Fu Jinghen’s touch, and buried herself deeper into his embrace.
Fu Jinghen looked at her lips, which were pressed against his chest through a thin layer of fabric, and his breathing instantly beca labored.
This girl was surely here to tornt him.
The restlessness that had just settled earlier in the night began to rise once more.
He turned to the side, away from Wen Qiao’s lips, but this movent startled her, her face imdiately wrinkled like a bun, and Fu Jinghen hastily patted her back to comfort her. Once her expression gradually eased, he used his foot to hook over the blanket and covered them both.
To prevent Wen Qiao from kicking off the blankets and flailing about again, this ti Fu Jinghen played it smart; he didn’t let Wen Qiao assert pressure on him but reversed the roles, pressing down on her with a light but firm touch that was not heavy enough for her to feel but ensured she couldn’t free herself.
Fu Jinghen held her entire being captive in his arms, not giving her any chance to stir.
"Go on and tornt ," he muttered under his breath beside Wen Qiao’s ear with gritted teeth, following the words with a gentle kiss behind her ear, before once again closing his eyes to fall asleep.
