Fu Jinghen’s lips were soft and squishy, and Wen Qiao got playfully excited for a mont.
Fu Jinghen let Wen Qiao play with his face for a good while before she finally let go of his face.
Wen Qiao’s nails had grown a bit long, and when she pinched Fu Jinghen’s mouth, she accidentally left a few nail marks on his face, faint but not too obvious.
Wen Qiao felt a bit guilty and cupped Fu Jinghen’s face, giving him a firm kiss, "Why didn’t you stop ?"
"Your happiness is the most important, baby."

He must have gotten addicted to calling her ’baby’.
Rembering Wen Qiao’s excited reaction when she heard they were going back to the Fu Mansion for dinner, Fu Jinghen asked, "Don’t you want to have dinner with Sister? If not, I’ll tell her right now."
He had also received a call from Fu Qiang while waiting for Wen Qiao to co downstairs, asking him to co ho for dinner. Fu Jinghen said he was busy tonight, but after Fu Qiang’s persistent questioning, he had to admit he was going to eat with Wen Qiao, so Fu Qiang asked him to bring Wen Qiao along.
He had intended to ask for Wen Qiao’s opinion, but she had enthusiastically tackled him before he could think about it, and if she hadn’t asked later, Fu Jinghen might not have rembered about it till now.
He hadn’t expected her reaction to be so strong.
"It’s not that I don’t want to," Wen Qiao stopped Fu Jinghen from calling, "It’s just a bit sudden. Just a couple of days ago, Sister Fu Qiang saw attending a banquet with Huo Mutian, and now going ho to eat with you, it’s a bit embarrassing..."
Wen Qiao’s voice got lower and lower, until only her breath could be heard, and her head drooped.
"Is that all you’re worried about?"
"Yeah," Wen Qiao looked up at him, "Right, I just feel a bit embarrassed, and since you ntioned it all of a sudden, I wasn’t prepared..."
Wen Qiao’s head lowered again, bumping gently against Fu Jinghen’s shoulder.
Fu Jinghen breathed a sigh of relief; he thought Wen Qiao was unwilling to go ho with her.
Even though he had ntally prepared himself countless tis to be firr but whenever it ca to matters involving Wen Qiao, he seed to lose control nervously.
"It’s okay." Fu Jinghen lifted Wen Qiao’s face, "Sister suddenly called to bring you back for dinner too. It’s okay if you’re not prepared, and you shouldn’t feel embarrassed. Didn’t I tell you? When she first found out that I broke off our engagent, she scolded . She’s on your side."
"Really?"
Wen Qiao was skeptical.
"Really, when have I ever lied to you?"
Wen Qiao frowned, lost in thought, seemingly trying to rember any instance when Fu Jinghen lied to her.
Fu Jinghen: "..."
He pinched Wen Qiao’s cheeks, interrupting her thoughts, "Alright, stop thinking about it. Will you obediently co ho with ?"
"Okay then."
After all, she was already sitting in his car, wherever they went was up to him, and she had no room to resist.
"So you’ll protect , right?"
Wen Qiao looked at Fu Jinghen with a "seeking protection" expression.
Fu Jinghen tapped her forehead, "Do you even need to ask?"

Right.
Wen Qiao pushed Fu Jinghen back, "Then let’s hurry back. I can even help cook. Didn’t you say Sister Fu Qiang’s cooking is not really comndable?"
Rembering this, Fu Jinghen reminded, "Just make sure not to ntion what I told you about that to Sister after we get ho."
