Wen Qiao humd and snuggled closer into Fu Jinghen’s embrace.
Their seats weren’t particularly hidden, and the clamorous group nearby couldn’t help but notice them.
Seeing the two of them so affectionately entwined, if anyone said it was just an act, then their acting deserved an Oscar.
Especially the way Fu Jinghen looked at Wen Qiao, with tenderness and fondness almost spilling from his eyes—if there was still soone claiming there were no real feelings between them, they’d be speaking nothing but blatant lies.
So envied, others were jealous, but these thoughts never affected the couple whispering to each other.
"Are you going for a magazine shoot tomorrow?" Fu Jinghen asked.
Wen Qiao nodded in his arms.
"Then should I co by at noon to visit the set?"
"How co you seize every chance to see ?" Wen Qiao disapproved a bit. "Do you really have to be so clingy?"
Fu Jinghen chuckled, "I only found a wife at nearly twenty-eight. If I’m not a bit clingy, what if my wife runs away?"
"Who’s your wife?" Wen Qiao bumped his shoulder with her head. "You haven’t even proposed. If you want a cheap wife, you might as well search in your dreams."
Fu Jinghen supported her chin and pulled her out from his embrace, "Can I interpret that as you would definitely say ’yes’ if I proposed?"
"Not at all." Wen Qiao bit his finger. "That’s not a valid proposition."
Though that’s what she said, Fu Jinghen felt Wen Qiao was beginning to waver; otherwise, she wouldn’t have said these words.
She was giving him a hint.
Fu Jinghen nodded, shifted the subject, and continued discussing visiting the set tomorrow. Yet in his heart, he’d already begun plotting how to propose.
It was a once-in-a-lifeti event.
This couldn’t be taken lightly.

Cheng Jue’s birthday party lasted until midnight. Fu Jinghen hadn’t drunk any alcohol tonight and drove Wen Qiao to the foot of her building. He followed her upstairs and only left reluctantly at her front door.
Right as the elevator door closed, the door of Jiang Yao’s apartnt across the way opened just in ti.
Jiang Yao leaned on the door fra, peeling an orange in her hand, "Tsk tsk tsk, the love in the air is so intoxicating."
"Jealous? Then you better hurry up and start dating."

Wen Qiao felt sothing was slightly amiss.

Jiang Yao raised her eyebrows, "Why are you looking at like that?"
"It’s nothing."
If things hadn’t fully developed yet, it was better not to startle the snake in the grass.
Wen Qiao ca over, snatched the peeled orange from her hand, turned around and walked back, waving her hand, "Rember to co over and wake up tomorrow."
Jiang Yao looked at her empty hand and cursed playfully, "You little rascal."
Her response was the sound of the door across the way being opened and then closed.
She also closed her door and went back to her room, where the phone screen lying on the bed displayed an ongoing voice call interface.
Hearing her entrance, Ye Shengnan asked, "You’re back?"
Jiang Yao humd in affirmation.
"What were you doing just now? You ran off in such a hurry."
"Qiaoqiao ca back, and I went out to take a look," Jiang Yao slipped under the covers and onto the bed. "President Fu brought her back. They were nauseatingly sweet; I watched them through the peephole for a long ti."
"Feeling envious?"
Jiang Yao: "Not that envious."
