Fu Jinghen chuckled and held her in his arms again.
Wen Qiao placed her hand over his eyes, "Close your eyes and rest for a bit."
"Okay."
Actually, Fu Jinghen’s eyes were very captivating as well, slender and defined, with deep eye sockets and narrow double eyelids that slightly tilted upwards at the corners, giving him a sowhat frivolous and amorous air. However, this frivolity was suppressed by his overall dignified appearance.
She extended a finger to lightly touch his eyelashes, tickled by the soft touch.
Wen Qiao pursed her lips as if discovering sothing amusing and touched them again.
"Stop poking," Fu Jinghen’s voice was slightly husky, "Poke any more, and you’ll start a fire."
Wen Qiao paused and hastily withdrew her hand once she realized what he ant.

After a mont of thought, Wen Qiao felt her reaction was too cowardly, so she reached out and gave his eyelashes a gentle tug.
Fu Jinghen hissed and opened his eyes to look at her, "Why are you pulling my eyelashes?"
"I wanted to pull them, so I did," Wen Qiao lifted her chin defiantly, "How about that?"
"It doesn’t matter," Fu Jinghen shook his head, "As long as you’re happy."
Just as Wen Qiao was about to say sothing, she noticed sothing odd by the blinds. She pried Fu Jinghen’s arms away and walked over, frowning.
Fu Jinghen, taken aback for a mont, stood up and followed, "What’s wrong?"
"Shh."
Wen Qiao raised her index finger to her lips, signaling for quiet, and tiptoed towards the blinds. She grabbed the drawstring and pulled it down sharply, opening the blinds with a swoosh to reveal Feng Li, Liu Tiantian, Guan Ling, and others on the other side of the glass.
Wen Qiao raised an eyebrow, leisurely taking in their expressions.
Feng Li and the others were caught off guard by the sudden parting of the blinds, standing frozen in place until Fu Jinghen’s icy gaze, as cold as Siberia’s extre weather, snapped them back to reality.
The group imdiately tensed up, collectively shivering.
Feng Li was the first to act, grabbing soone beside him, "Let’s go, let’s go. I said we shouldn’t look anymore, but you all insisted."
Liu Tiantian, Guan Ling, Guo Aixian, and Hu Yueke hurriedly turned around, shoving and pushing each other, and within five seconds, all had vanished from the window.
Wen Qiao laughed at their frantic escape. She turned to look at Fu Jinghen, "How do you, such a boring boss, get along with these live wires?"
Fu Jinghen walked over, passed her, and closed the blinds, looking down at her, "Am I that dull?"
"..."
Why does he look so pitiful?
Without receiving an answer from Wen Qiao, Fu Jinghen bent down, leaning close to her ear, "Hmm?"
"Not... exactly."
Feeling an encroaching sense of danger, Wen Qiao turned and slipped out from under his arm, retreating to a safe spot, "President Fu, this is the office. Can’t you be more conscious of the impact? Stop trying to get so close to all the ti. Haven’t you seen how gossipy your secretaries have beco?"
Fu Jinghen was silent for two seconds before asking, "So, I can think about it when we’re not in the office?"
"?"
Was that even human speech?
Wen Qiao crossed her arms over her chest, "You can’t think about it, no matter the ti or place!"
Fu Jinghen’s eyes dimd.
"Why do you always look so wronged? Let tell you, I am a career-oriented woman," Wen Qiao looked at him, "So you shouldn’t be filled with thoughts of romance all day, either. n should prioritize their careers too, or else I’ll look down on you."
