That look was all too familiar.

The two hadn’t broken off their engagent, and as their feelings gradually ward, Wen Qiao had once looked at him with that sa dependent and trusting gaze.

When showing this look, she would slightly tilt her head, carrying a hint of coy coquettishness.

Each ti she looked at him that way, his heart would rebel against his brain’s control. He wanted nothing more than to indulge her, to pamper her; as long as she was happy, he was willing to do anything.

But now, she was using that sa look on another man.

While the ’detective squad’ was busy engulfed in their tasks, Fu Jinghen also boarded the flight to West City.

The hour and a half felt unusually excruciating.

Without internet access, Fu Jinghen couldn’t monitor Wen Qiao and Lin Luang’s activities constantly, leaving him in relentless irritation.

Perhaps the audience would assu that a reality show couldn’t completely lack a script, even though "Unexpected" claims to restore the genuine reactions of its guests, it still arguably sets a general boundary within which they can freely perform.

But as an investor of the show, Fu Jinghen knew this program really had no script; everything was left to personal will.

First, there was Shi Koufan, then Huo Mutian arrived, and now Lin Luang had joined.

Previously, Wen Qiao only had eyes for him, but now her attention was divided among four, and potentially more would continue to diminish her focus.

Suddenly, Fu Jinghen felt an ungraspable sensation about Wen Qiao.

This feeling left him incredibly powerless.

He didn’t even know what he would say to Wen Qiao when he arrived in West City to see her.

Yet, he found himself desperately wanting to see her, as if a eting might affirm sothing.

At this mont, Fu Jinghen suddenly understood; it wasn’t that he mistrusted Wen Qiao, but rather he distrusted himself.

Ironically, he, who engineered strategies and secured victories on the business battlefield, found himself trendously tripped up by a girl nearly a decade his junior.

Sitting next to him, Feng Li looked over several tis, hesitating to speak.

Fu Jinghen indifferently asked, "What’s on your mind?"

Feng Li swallowed what he had initially intended to say, switching to a brighter tone, "President Fu, tomorrow’s the Mid-Autumn Festival. Since Chairman Fu hasn’t left yet, why not bring the Boss Lady and the young master back tomorrow for a reunion dinner?"

Hearing the term "reunion", Fu Jinghen tugged at the corner of his mouth, "We’ll see."

Feng Li wanted to say more, but upon seeing the bitter curve on Fu Jinghen’s lips, he quietly shut his mouth.

He hoped this trip to West City would lighten his boss’s mood a bit.

When the flight from Hang City to West City landed, the live broadcast of "Unexpected" just ended, and when Fu Jinghen switched on his phone and checked Weibo for follow-ups, he only saw the official blog post announcing the "Best CP" voting results.

Wen Qiao and Lin Luang’s younger-man pairing surged from behind to clinch the top spot on the leaderboard, drawing many fans who were shipping "Wen Ji and Qi Wu" and "Ju Shiming" to their team.

Since tomorrow was Mid-Autumn Festival, after today’s shooting, Director Li had generously treated the entire program’s staff to celebrate.

After showering and changing clothes back in the hotel room, everyone gathered in the lobby and set off together.
