After speaking, she even sighed, her helpless yet sweet deanor nearly driving Jiang Wei mad.

A crisp voice rang out, and Wen Qiao instinctively looked up.
The man was dressed in simple white clothing with black pants, no extra accessories, tall and straight in stature, with a sowhat ruggedly handso face, exuding integrity. Wen Qiao, looking at him, automatically pictured him in a military uniform, which must have been very handso.
This must be Ye Shengnan, the actor playing Huo Cheng, the male lead of "Red Makeup."
Ye Shengnan debuted at the age of ten, growing up in front of the audience and affectionately dubbed "national son"; he was always active in film and television. At 23, his first appearance on the big screen won him a Best Actor award and from then on, the "national son" successfully transford into the "national husband."
"Red Makeup" was a female-centric drama, and having a film emperor like Ye Shengnan to support the female lead, especially with Wen Qiao, a newcor sared by scandals right from the start, really felt like a misplacent of his talents.
But this also showed how much Huasong cared about this drama.
"Film Emperor Ye is here."
"The assistant director won’t let live it down; I really couldn’t push off the appointnt this morning. As compensation, I’ll treat everyone to dinner later."
Only then did the assistant director smile, patting Ye Shengnan on the shoulder, "At least you’re sensible, but let’s skip dinner for now, as it’s uncertain how long we’ll be busy today. Let’s just owe it for now."
"Alright."
The assistant director urged, "Go change and get your makeup done; your female lead has been waiting for you for a while."
Following the direction the director pointed, Ye Shengnan saw two slender figures standing in a corner.

Wen Qiao, apparently not expecting Ye Shengnan to co over, paused briefly before greeting him cordially, "Hello, Senior Ye."
"Hmm." Ye Shengnan extended his hand, "Pleasure to work with you."
Wen Qiao shook his hand, "Please guide a lot, Senior Ye."
After a brief handshake, they let go.
"I’ll go get ready."
"Okay."
Ye Shengnan gave her another look before turning to head towards the makeup room.
Once Ye Shengnan’s figure had disappeared from the shooting location, Wen Qiao imdiately turned and flicked Jiang Yao’s hand off her waist, pulling Jiang Yao out from behind her, "Look at you, zero self-respect! Why didn’t you just hide away? You were so excited when you saw Ye Shengnan, and when he ca over, you acted like a scared quail."
Rubbing her reddened hand, Jiang Yao pouted, "Why, can’t I be shy?"
"Ugh." Wen Qiao finally realized how affected and nauseating her earlier behavior of ssaging Fu Jinghen had been, "Don’t be so girly; it doesn’t fit your tough girl persona at all."
